Electric Art Project

Posted by Davina King in Physics · Gray · E on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 8:52 am
I decided to make this because I thought I would like the way it looked. This is something I would use as decoration in my room. After i know where exactly I wanted to put the lights and got all the things I needed it was easy to do.

One Point Perspective

Posted by Davina King in Introduction to Art · Hertz · a1 on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 9:02 am
In my room there is a bed(to the right). there is also a TV on a table right under a window. In the room there is also a door and a skylight. I have a tile ceiling and wood floors. One point perspective is really easy if you know how to do it. In this room I'm most proud of the ceiling and the posters. I wish I could improve on the table and add more detail to the wood floors. If your doing a one point perspective drawing you should follow the directions carefully. if you mess up in the first few steps the drawing wont look right.

Cell Phone Addiction Project

Posted by Davina King in Intro to Tech and Comp App · Hertz · a2 on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 2:21 pm

The goal for this project is to be more conscious of my own phone as it relates to research around learning, brain function and addiction. Many students check their phones a lot. In many cases students think they check their phones as much as other students. This may not be good because they are not checking their phones for educational purposes. Or they are multitasking so it takes them longer to do the work, or they may have false information on the work. A few things that can help students brake their addiction is to turn their phones off. Put their phones away while in class. And put their phones on silent. The 9th graders used an app on their phones to see how many times they unlocked their phones. Click here to see data.
