Angel: We originally wanted to do a ps4 controller because we both love ps4. But we decided to do a shirt because Nasir is into fashion and we thought it would be easier to do. Nasir: Angel is correct about that. I am a huge fan of fashion and, said why not create my own shirt and make it light up this shows my passion for my business of selling my own clothing.

This box represents because even though I may say that I don’t have emotions inside myself, they’re still there. Sometime I would tell myself that emotions are just unnecessary things to have and believe that my life would be easier without them. I was never the kind of person to understand how someone is feeling or is able express mine own. I was able were a type of “mask” to make it seem like I understand but truth be told, I wish I was more like this box, able to not feel. I hate that fact that part of me will show up once in a while but a guess it shows that I’m not completely heartless.
The reason why we chose this is because we both really like shoes and Jordan 11’s especially the space jams. As a kids we found out both of our favorite movies was space jam featuring the looney tunes. Michael Jordan was a major brand at the moment and thy were called the special shoes in the movies so you know in every kids mind is I have to get those. It turn out Brandon was the first to get a pair out of us but I still have more swag. We added the blue lights to match it up with shoes and it looks good. And also for me De’Chaune my uncle died in Jordan 11s so yeah they mean something to me. He was really a big factor in my life and it spited the family apart.
The artwork that I created was based off a movie called The Croods. I chose to make this piece because the movie was about a cave family that lived their lives really safe and were taught to not be Curious. Throughout the movie, the family experienced trials and tribulations when traveling to a new home. They learned to be optimistic and trust each other but they also fought. Even though they argued with each other they still showed the true meaning of family. This is meaningful to me because family is an important value in my life.
For this project, I decided to make a stage that lights up with two anime characters, Ruby and Hanamaru, standing in front of it. I choose to make this sculpture because I wanted to make something creative and that will catch the attention of others. The anime girls are from a show called Love live Sunshine, which represents me because they are all motivated to reach their dream and really care about their school. As well, the characters, Ruby and Hanamaru, remind me of myself. Furthermore, I really appreciate cute and colorful things, which was why I decided to make the stage light up with multi colored lights. To conclude, I feel like this project really represents my personality, interests, and motivation to put creativity into my projects.
I made this sculpture to represent how I view my brain. I believe my brain is the worst and best element of myself. Therefore, to portray this I had colorful lights that are bright to the good part of my brain, which is my intelligence, creativity, and all good qualities of myself. The plain white bulbs in the elements are in series and are dim on purpose to represent the bad qualities of myself or the worst. These represent my mental illness, less kind side, and all the other horrible qualities that I do not like about myself. I wanted these qualities to be seen like a ying yang sign, the good in the bad and the bad in the good because in my brain you can't seem to have a good quality without a bad one to accompany it and vice versa. I wanted this sculpture to completely represent me and how I am a mixture of both and sometimes one may overpower the other. I wanted for to see a look inside my brain.
I choose a stuffed animal because that is where i feel sad I use it. Its is something that means a lot to me. Also this toy was given to me by a close friend. Which gives it more meaing
This mean some to me because this was the first thing i brought my girlfriend and it cost me alot of money.
