Quarter # 1 Part;

  • The project type for quarter #1 was to create and design a website of your own choice using a website software  

 

  • The overall vision of this project was to familiarize student with editing and designing a web page about them for other students to get to know them as part of the SLA community

 

  • Yes as you can see from this slide presentation I’ve have made great progress. Was this project successful basically this project put students computer network skills to the test to basically to see what ideas they could come up with, to display information about their interest, accomplishments, and small bio about themselves within school and out.

 

Quarter # 2 Part;

  • The project type for quarter #2 was to create and design a project video on a website of your own choice using a video creation website software

 

  • The overall vision of the project was to also familiarize yourself with a video website for editing and designing  and videos something of your choice that was reasonable to show to the SLA  community to test your video creation editing skills

 

  • Yes the video was great success I mean there were little up’s and down’s creating the video on the video website software because the website would freeze and shut down most times. But I made it work even though I wanted to give up and move on to the next best thing I stuck with the website and made it work.  

 

Quarter # 3 Part;

 

-The project type for quarter #3 was to create and design and sketch and digital 3D model representation of a real imagined of object or living thing

 

- The overall vision of this project was to create 3D model image and explore an digital website software and find out how it works.Using this website could help student’s within the future to later on in life to plan for architectural or building projects for working experiences.These websites can be a good display to show their representation of what they are planning to create and present to the world.

 

- Yes the project was successful, as you can see from looking at the slides in presentation it shows my full progress and what I have accomplished, why was the project successful for me I just pretty much spent my time trying doing my best putting my knowledge skills and my creative skills to the test. To sketch whatever image of a 3 dimensional object I could think to make and even though I was kind of having trouble a couple of times  with the tools and website. I was still able to manage and pull through to make what I wanted even though it was not exactly  where I wanted the creation of my project object to look like.

 

Quarter #4 part;

 

  • why you chose this project and the process you went through revising it include a visual

 

I wanted to do my project revision from my quarter #2 video refection , my revision was focusing on fixing my on my website reflection because I wanted viewers to be able to see my reflection of my work of what I said on my website.  At first I wanted viewers to see my project reflection to my project progress through a google document link. The problem was the refection need to be visual on my website not a  displayed link that people had to copy and put it in the search link bar. So here are all the steps I went through to fixing my project reflection my website.

 

  • First, I have opened up my website and google document

  • Second, I went my website and went on to the project tab on my website

  • Third, I went my website and deleted the link code of my google document with my video refection of quarter #2

  • Four, I then went Inside my google document where I written my project reflection and copied all my sentences and words i’ve written down from my reflection

  • Fifth, I went back to my website and  transfer all my project refection information into a textbox on my website

  • Sixth, last but not least I republished my website with the edited changes and now you could see my project reflection underneath my project video

 

  • Your high point of the course when it comes to your learning include a visual

I choose my course website as a highest point of learning because it was my first time ever creating a website that I though was one of greatest success of learning. In the past I have used website’s to build and create powerpoint’s also I have used websites to create and make videos for projects. But I have never made and create one which I enjoyed doing because now I have gain a part of learning that I can now used for the future references. When it comes time for me to show off a presentation or something of my interest that I want to show and want the world to know about.

 

  • An area of growth for you include a visual

I choose my project revision from quater #2 as a sign of growth just to show that their was a part to one of my project’s that I did need to edit and fix up. I wanted to show this picture as part of my growth for my presentation because I wanted people to know not everything you do will be such a great success. Their will always be something that needs to rearrange and change around so people can see and clearly understand the point that you're trying to make.

 

  • How you have used or could use a skill or technique you learned this year outside of this class include a visual

A skill and technique that I have learned and used throughout this whole project course was this motto this motto is what kept me going. There have been times where I always second guess myself, give up on things, or faced hard non-understandable problems that have slowed from down from my path to success. But I play this motto in my head almost everyday when I get to these kinds of breaking points I just “keep moving forward”.This motto gives me hope, strength and also comfort through the good and the bad times I go through.

 

 

  • An idea you want to pitch for a project for next year's class include a visual

Next year’s project for video editing for other students make sure their are proper websites to use for video editing. Some websites can tend to freeze and stop working and shut down so next time just be on the lookout and heads up for better video editing websites for students.

 

  • Tip #1 for anyone taking this class include a visual

I choose this image as part of my tip visual  for the next class for the future because in order for them to succeed and get good credit for the work they complete and try hard to do.They got to  try their best and don't give up the on their work or themselves if it is hard or difficult for them to understand. The future students must know and must understand that they  just got to do what you can do and what you know how to do. It’s better to have something out of nothing at the end of the day you can just say I put forth a good effort.

  • Tip #2 for anyone taking this class include a visual

The reason I choose this image for my second visual because their will be thing’s that people might understand or may be difficult for them to figure it out whatever they are trying to do. Students must know when these difficult times appear  they need to come out, and reach out of their uncomfortable zone space and learn to ask for help from peers and teachers. Not everything is going to be understood or easy to go through their will be obstacles and problems always in the way. Students need to know they don't have to go them through alone there will always be help along the way.

  • Tip #3 for anyone taking this class include a visual

The reason I choose this tip for my last visual because students need to know to believe in themselves what they are capable of doing. Not everything is going to come easy there will be battles to go through and fight with work. But students need to know trust in themselves and need to be able to pull through it will be a risky and hard path to cross with learning sometimes. As long as student hold themselves together they can and push themselves forward they can make it.

A (brief) description of your project and project goals, including what you hoped to learn through completing the project.


My project goal is trying to help everyone get to know me more better as an SLA student at “Science leadership Academy” so they can become more comfortable around me and about who I am as a person. So they can relate to some of the things I have talk about and went over about my website with me that I don't know about them. We could have similar results about each other lives  we don't know until this website help them get too know me. I hoping to learn more about the techniques and structure and gain more knowledge of this website because I  will never know I could need this website again for project or assignment again some day. It could be media designing or whatever etc. in the future it could come in handy again so i'm hoping that I could use this website again for an reference someday again.  


A (brief) description of the process you went through to complete the project.


Here are all the slides I touch over about my media design project “Home Page”, “About Me”, “ My Resume”, “ My Project” and also I have included a etc. slide to tell everyone thank you for looking at and viewing my website also learning about who I am has a person. Starting off for my “Home Page” I wanted to let everyone know what they are looking forward to seeing in my website project it’s like a small welcome and greeting also introduction. For my “About me Page” I gave just a small life bio of who I am and what I do in and out of school and mostly my hobbies and interests about life itself also I have include an video of one my dearest closest talents I like the most about my life is make creating music and one of the musical talents I  have is playing “Drums” and I will show video of myself playing drums at a wedding. Now for my “Resume Page” I just include some accomplishments, and Job opportunities that I was offered, also talents that I have have in my life. Another slide that I have included in my website page was about  “Project’s Page” so what I have done for project was I just displayed project that I have done in the past year, also I have included an project that I have done this year that I just got finished doing not too long ago and they were both about “Bio-chem” because I love science. Also the last project I have included was one that I am working on now today a flute that was  for “Stem and Intro”. Now for the very last slide I just a include a “Closing Page”  I just tell everyone thank you for viewing and hope you like the website and hope they have enjoyed getting to know me.

Something that gave me trouble was uploading a video too my website and publishing my website, and how I have overcome these troubles I ask for help from the teacher about uploading a video on my website also the response I got was “ look at youtube for an guiding reference for how to upload a video on your website” and it worked out perfectly, and the second situation I ask a peer how to publish a website and “she” help me out a bit but “she” also remind me that we have guide website  how answer the questions you are  seeking for and it help me out a lot because what happened??? I went right to website and it did help me and had the answers  I was looking for.


What you actually ended up learning through the completion of the project.

I learned the features and structure and creation for how to make a website through this learning process.

What you learned about yourself through the completion of the project.

I learned that I have to have patience with myself and learn to look at guidance reference and guide lines when they are given and when I have a question or don't understand something ask a peer and teacher then but first try you best and see what you can do and come up first.


How you would do this project differently if you were to do it all over again.

I don't think I would really change anything but added some more stuff to talk about for the  website.

Any tips or hints for others attempting this project.

Read first before doing and make sure you pay close attention when instructions are being given.

What this project inspired you to do next.

This project inspired me to use this website maker for projects or assignments when projects and assignments come out I can just use this website as an display for what I am trying to sponsor or if I want to make website of my own now I know what to use to make a website.

El Tasas de obesidad abajo en Filadelfia dice que el obesidad infantil en filadelfia es cuarenta y uno por ciento-- menos qué antes, pero aún inaceptable. Hoy yo enseñaré unas formas mantenerte saludable. Mi programa tiene tres piezas: la pieza primera es la comida saludable, unas comidas saludables son manzanas, naranjas, ensaladas, y espinacas. Comida chatarra está muy mal por tu cuerpo. ¡Ten cuidado! La pieza segundo es ejercicio, unos deportes saludable que ustedes pueden jugar estar esquí, tenis, béisbol, y voleibol. ¡Ejercicio está muy bueno por tu salud! La opción tercero es obtiene mucho dormir. Usted necesita más que nueve horas de dormir todos los días.

I think did pretty well this quarter benchmark even though I am still not really a fast learner in Spanish I still press on to try to do my best to see what I could do, also I think my group did pretty good job  though we had our up's and down's and little problems we still pull through. We also finish the project but really this quarter benchmark I think we were really focus and on the task at hand and did our best. What really what caught eye was collaboration and the support that was going around even though we got off task a couple of times there will always be a person in the group that would help lead and take control to tell us to get back on track. I enjoyed the amount of time we had each day to do our work it's like we measured our time day by day and we had a list the work that need to be done on each specific day but mostly I was glade that I got put with a group that did there work most of the time i'm always worried about who I get put with that does work and focus's for what is important. That would always worry's my mind every I think about but this benchmark I think I got put with good responsible group. I think we did amazing job i'm proud of myself and my group even though my grade could a little better at least I tried and we tried all together and that is all that was important to me as long as I and my group succeed with good work ethic and good time management that is all that would matter to me.

Abstract:


On may the 7th Margaret Coleman was interview by Darian Scudder and she was born in Alabama greenville 1960 she’s a African American her mom raise her up in church and she played games with brothers and sister’s. Her Dad made her brother ‘s and sister’s pick crops and take care of the farm she enjoyed being home with brother’s and sister’s working on the farm. She had to pick food and cotton and crops from the farm, she would play baseball, hide and go seek, and jacks, hopscotch, her dad drove the school bus, Mom would be at home and when come from school. She would spend a lot of time together with her family and  she would come home from church and they would go shopping , and sometimes her  family would sit outside on the porch and watch the cars go by together. Her parents would always watch out for her health not to eat junk food she would go into town and go into the little stores and get hun buns and little snacks from the corner stores. She would eat ice cream from the dairy queens but mostly her family would eat at home her favorite movies were (Gone with the wind) and (Romeo and Juliet) she would watch them in  school. Her Favorite Hobbies were Fishing, and she Made up her own baseball, and Walking to her neighbors houses she was very close to her mother Dad and sister and brothers, The school’s I went to had all blacks schools and I would be in the country schools. Most of her friends were blacks because the area she was in when her mom did house cleaning her boss was white and he had white children she would play around when she was little they help them when they had a lot of work.


Research:

I my Research I found that: African-American slaves, sharecropping came to define the method of land lease that would eventually become a new form of slavery. Without land of their own, many blacks were drawn into schemes where they worked a portion of the land owned by whites for a share of the profit from the crops. They would get all the seeds, food, and equipment they needed from the company store, which allowed them to run a tab throughout the year and to settle up once the crops, usually cotton, were gathered. When accounting time came, the black farmer was always a few dollars short of what he owed the landowner, so he invariably began the new year with a deficit. As that deficit grew, he found it impossible to escape from his situation by legal means. The hard, backbreaking work led to stooped, physically destroyed, and mentally blighted black people who could seldom envision escape for themselves or their children; their lives were an endless round of poor diet, fickle weather, and the unbeatable figures at the company store.

What do you think your life will be like when you get older?  


I hope that my husband and I will be able to have children.  I picture lots of family camping trips and times spent with cousins!



Whatʼs the most exciting thing you done?


The most exciting thing I've ever done is traveled to Africa for the summer.  I had an incredible time learning about the unique cultures of Ghana, meeting amazing people and stepping outside my comfort zone, we had to use buckets of water to flush the toilets.


What are you proudest of in your life?


I am proud to be a teacher.  I am so proud that I have been teaching for ten years so far and that I love my job and my students.

“The most exciting I've done probably was go to Ohio and  go to roller coaster park and go ride all of the roller coaster's”

“When I get older I probably want to stay the way I am and be very controlling over everything so hopeful my life will be under controlling the way I imagine it to be which is very organised and successful” 


What are you proudest of in your life?



“I’m very Proud of taking care of my sister’s and doing a lot of things for my mom because when I was younger my mom and dad had a tough time together and now I take care all of the work for my mom”
