Global Water Crisis Infographic
Water crisis is one of the biggest environmental issue that occurs all over the world. Being in a water crisis is more known as water scarcity. Water scarcity is the lack of having access to fresh, clean water in different regions of a world. The water crisis is a big environmental justice issue; billions are affected by the lack of clean water and there are many different movements and groups that are trying to get this problem the attention it deserves. The thing that stood out to me the most while researching this topic is how many countries and cities within those countries are affected by these water issues and how little attention it receives. I am still wondering what americans can do to bring more attention to these natural disasters.

Natural Disasters and Earths Systems Research
Earth's systems all rely on one another in different ways. Earth's systems include the atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, and geosphere. Depending on what it is, these systems can affect each other positively and negatively. Positively would include examples like recycling more or negatively would include natural disasters like wildfires. Wildfires are fires that can be caused naturally based off of natural causes like hot air. With the understanding of environmental science or how these wildfires are caused, we can decreases the chances of a wildfire with options like avoiding smoking, stop throwing trash in forest areas, cleaning up dry plants that could cause fuels etc. With efforts like this and more, we can create a more sustainable future for our earth.
Fast Plants: Reflection
Before planting the seeds, we predicted a mix combination of the colors it labeled on the description, the seeds did sprout to match my prediction. The parent generation grew way faster. At first, they did not sprout although, we used another set of seeds from a different parent generation. I believe taking care of my plants and nourishing them everyday helped them thrive. With the help of selective pressure and other environmental factors, this helps an organism meet its environments living standards better. In conclusion, what stood out to me the most this course was my benchmark research. I was beyond surprised about how bad we treat our environment and how much we don't realize it.
Quarter 4 Final Art Benchmark
For my quarter 4 final project for art class, I decided to create a self portrait of myself. I choose a self portrait because the artist I researched (Frida Kahlo) was known for her phenomenal portraits of herself. To create my work, I used plain thin white colored paper about 12x13in wide. I wanted a natural soft appearance of the portrait so I used light pencil to sketch it out and colored pencils only to fill it in. This relates a lot to my other work being a lot similar because my motive is to always keep it simple which means my supplies are similar to my other projects supplies, processes as well. Creating my project, I set up checkpoint for myself so I could receive the best product possible. I created a rough draft, fixed up my flaws, started my final and began adding final touches and color. I received a peer review as well. Frida Kahlo inspired my work for this project. It is very similar to the art she creates and to her portraits. I am most proud of my finished product of my art work and I am most proud of how I managed my time. In conclusion to my artist statement, I learned your artwork is what you make it and that you can create anything you put your mind to.

Q2: Art Benchmark
For my quarter 2 art benchmark, I created a clay 3d rose. The rose is created with solid color clay and colored with paint. I created the rose to represent “beauty in everything” since the rose has been known for that. For the rose, I used a few specific art tools to create my piece. For the first, I used clay along with my fingers for carving the clay to my liking of petals. I then used red paint for my petals and a green paint for a leaf. I made sure this piece related to my previous work by making sure the theme kept the idea of having beauty. The steps of this process did not take too long. You first want to take a good amount of clay. You then want to start breaking off pieces of your clay, molding them into petals of your liking. When you’ve gotten your petals, you want to connect them together going into the direction of a rose. When you’re satisfied with your looking of the rose, let it dry for a day or two. Your final step would include painting/coloring your rose. My work reminded me of Hukasai since he is known for making garden like pieces. When creating your piece, painting is an important technique because you want to make sure your paint does not interfere with the other petals that will be different. I am most proud of my consistency I kept throughout creating this project because the project was a challenge and did include a lot of fails. Although, I wouldn’t want anything to be changed. In conclusion, this project was a learning experience and is now a fun new hobby.

Jadas Linoleum Rose
Overall, my linoleum project is important to me and I worked hard on it. The techniques I used were different which taught me something new and I plan to use them in my next art projects in the future.
Jada's artwork
I created this specific picture because I figured an elephat head would be the best way to insert my texture and lines into my drawing. I hoped to achieve a culture look in my drawing with lines and different designs. I hope my work lets the viewer know that I worked hard for on it and the look I was achieving. I achieved the look I wanted for this project and getting my project done on time like I planned. I first started my project off with a rough draft of my elephant head with a pencil and went over with my final utensils which was a pen. I made sure all my different designs in my drawing werent the same, and where unique. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to do for my texture&lines drawing so I looked up images on google and wasn inspired by a specific elephant drawing I came across, so I tried to get an idea from that (). I feel the pen I used was technique to the work because the thiness of it made my designs in my drawing more unique and neat. A new technique I learned while creating this project was to make sure your drawing is always rough before you start it.
While doing this project I learned to always work hard on your work but to take your time while doing it. This project made me realize to never wait last minute and to work just as hard on it as if it were any other project. I enjoyed creating my peice although if I could go back to chose another idea I would.
color wheel project
I created the flower look for my color wheel because I felt like it fit best with the idea. A flower could have as many petals as I wanted to draw and it was simple. My overall vision for my wheel came out as I pictured it to be which was all of my color attached to my petals with a clear, solid color background so the my petals with color would pop out more. I expect my audience to be just as satisfied with my final product as much as I was. The color wheel project did not so much remind me of past art classes although, the creating and having my own idea did. Knowing each color and mixing them also reminded me of old work while learning these colors in the beginning of the semester.

social media survival guide
In my opinion, when I am online I am myself. I act/communicate the way I would I would if someone seen me in person. I do not cyberbully anyone else and stick to myself on my social media accounts. I don’t specifically know what other people think of me when I am online but maybe people think I am quiet because I dont post alot or interact with alot of people online. When I am online, I do consider what I post most of the time. I make sure it’s nothing violent, rude a threat to others, etc. Or even if it's a picture of me I make sure it's not too explicit etc. because media gets around fast and I don't want a stranger or anyone to see something of me I didn't want them to see. Anything you post on social media doesn't go away so you have to watch what you post. There are many pros and cons online for example you can promote something online but just know it'll be shared all over social media which means everyone can see it. Lack of control can take a big part when you're online. For example, if you post a status or even a photo after that it's not in your control anymore. Even if you delete it you can find your post anywhere on different websites, google etc. Some colleges/jobs look at your social media accounts to see who you are outside of being professional. It's important to know who your identity is online.
