One point perspective room

Posted by Kyla Pritchett in Introduction to Art · Hertz · a1 on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 8:55 am
The room I drew is very minimalist and simple. It contains a bed, built in bookshelf, a flower poster, a rug, a dresser, an Alexa, a floor lamp, a window with curtains, a door, and a pillow. That the vanishing point really makes a difference in drawing something realistically. I am most proud of the rug and the wooden floors because that was the most time consuming. I would work on my neatness and add more decoration. Don't rush and be precise. Use all of the available time you get

Cell Phone use project Reflection

Posted by Kyla Pritchett in Intro to Tech and Comp App · Hertz · a2 on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 9:48 am

Purpose- The purpose of the project is to make my peers and I more conscious of our cell phone use and how it can possibly lead to cell phone addiction, damage the brain, and learning.

Conclusion-In conclusion, my data was like I assumed it would be: “I probably check phone less than my peers.” I also learned that the overuse of cellphones could possibly lead to damage and cell phone addiction and those are unhealthy for the brain. I believe that some of peers show signs of cell phone addiction and that it could possibly set us back in the future because some are addicted to their phones.

The next steps-
  • Turning off the device before bed.

  • Change the location of frequently used apps.

  • Turn off unnecessary notifications

  • Turn on do not disturb mode (DnD).
