I chose to make the sign of Hamilton the musical because I really like this musical since it has motivated me to work hard throughout the school year. I found the story of Hamilton (Alexander Hamilton) very inspirational because he started from nothing and has worked very hard to become someone very important to U.S history. He is also on the 10 dollar bill. I started to listen to this about 2 years ago and I’ve been listening to this since then. The songs in this musical has many genres for every song which is one of the reasons I like listening to this. I watched this musical many times through online and every time I watched it I am never bored and always entertained. This musical was created by Lin-Manuel Miranda who is also a person who I look up to and helps me be motivated in school. This show plays in the Richard Rodgers theater on 226 West 46th St, New York City, NY.

One Point Perspective Room Project

Posted by Sebastian Perez in Introduction to Art · Hertz · a2 on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 2:35 pm
What was in my drawing?
In my drawing, there is a door, a TV, a couch, a coffee table with flowers in a vase, a kitchen table, a small kitchen, a refrigerator, a kitchen cabinet, and a window with a view of outside.

What have I learned from a one point perspective?
I learned that there is a major difference with the one point in the center because if you just draw a normal shape with straight lines it would look like no 3 D effect.

What am I most proud of in my room drawing?
One thing I am most proud of is my couch because this took me a long time to make and it came out nice.

What could I improve about my room drawing?
One thing I could improve is my texture with my wooden floor because the texture looks like a "Furry" texture instead of the actual wooden floor.

What is one tip for someone who is doing this project next year?
One tip for someone who is going to do this project is that when drawing or lining corners make sure you draw a very light line that connects to the horizon line.

Cell Phone Use Project

Posted by Sebastian Perez in Intro to Tech and Comp App · Hertz · a1 on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 8:42 am
This project is about how many times does a person use their phone and what causes them to do it. My goal is to know why does this happen to people and how many times does a person use their phones every day. Since the average number for a person in 9th grade to use their phone is 73, people are addicted to their phones because researchers say that this is caused by “Dopamine”. Based on the data, the majority of the students mostly use YouTube due to the entertainment of videos.
