Toxic City

I think it should change even though it's hard to change. Because lead paint was so popular in the olden days and Philadelphia itself is an old city its hard to find a solution for finding lead paint things. An easy solution is to educate your kids and tell them not to eat things they don't know about. That's an example for the six-year-old who was afraid he'd get in trouble for having a dirty desk.

I was surprised that lead paint is still in so many places. We need to be more aware of what children are being exposed to. I know that completely stripping a school of lead paint is very costly, but safety should be more important.

As I was reading different articles about lead In Philadelphia, I became really shocked. That's because I've never really heard about this outbreak and didn't know the extent of the impact on our youth. I think that it should be more well-known because it could possibly save children from all places with their learning abilities and much more.

What stood out to me the most is the situation in general. Lead poisoning is a huge issue right now in Philly. The real problem is that the issue is not being confronted at all. What I am wondering is why is this story not as popular right now? Children’s live are threatened.

The earth systems can be affected by a forest fire in good and bad ways. For instance, a forest fire can affect the Geosphere by the ash and the heat from the fire creating good growing soil. The atmosphere can be affected by the forest fire ash and debris that can rise into the sky and block sunlight. A forest fire can affect the biosphere by less oxygen in the air that would make it hard for humans to breath which affects the climate. Lastly, a forest fire can affect the hydrosphere by the debris and soot that can be carried in the atmosphere and dropped into a nearby body of water which can pollute and affect the aquatic life. Understanding environmental science aid in handling natural disasters can help you prepare for natural disasters that might occur. Understanding how they can start and understand how it can affect the different earth systems can be beneficial to everyone. It’s important to know how to safely deal with a natural disaster and how they can affect you afterward. Efforts that we can make to create a sustainable future would be to stop burning things, stop burning cigarettes and stop building houses in places that are easy to catch flame. It’s also important that we build stronger houses that would be tough to catch fire. It’s also better if we properly put out cigarettes instead of throwing them out on the streets. Reaction: After doing research about Los Angeles wildfires, I was able to take note of certain things that could help me in the future. For example, I took note of how to get out of a wildfire safely and how wildfires can affect the atmosphere for the worse and how it can affect the Geosphere for the better. While reading different articles, I wasn't too shocked to see that some wildfires are caused by human carelessness. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1qBePw4afvVYLoREvswwKc1lLCd1Xz75WLhxQvzrtkAg/edit?usp=sharing

Q1 benchmark

The geosphere has four subsystems called the lithosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, and atmosphere. Because these subsystems interact with each other and the biosphere, they work together to influence the climate, trigger geological processes, Unless you live in the air like a bird, you make your home in the lithosphere along with all other life forms that live on land. Efforts we can make to go for a sustainable future is to think about what we make our clothes out of and what materials really hurt the earth because we are really just buying stuff not knowing what they are made out of.

The earths system affect each other because the atmosphere give the geosphere heat and and energy that it need to breakdown. Some efforts that we can make to create a sustainable future is actually start using our OWN resources. We could start making our own clothes and actually make people aware. My reaction to this is excited because Im learning new things about something that I use everyday.

Earth systems affect each other because the geosphere reflects the sun’s energy back into the atmosphere. The biosphere receives gases, heat, and sunlight, energy from the atmosphere.

We can recycle more and we can take more caution when we throw things away.

How do earth systems affect each other? Earth’s systems affect each other by it . If one of the earth systems would then all of the other systems would be affected as well. How can an understanding of environmental science aid in handling natural disasters? This can help out because we would know the science behind these natural disasters, and figure out how to stop these inevitable problems. What efforts can we make to create a sustainable future? I think using eco-safe materials will help in a way.

Sustainable Healthcare

The Earth systems effect each other in a multitude of ways. The functioning of these systems is pivotal for survival on Earth. Environmental Sustainability will only succeed if we develop additional conservation methods. Our preserves precipitation in a water collection unit. This of course unitizes the natural resources of the hydrosphere and the atmosphere.
