The item that I chose to light is an American Flag.  This is something that I view as symbolic of America, in particular, viewing it as a symbol of freedom and independence.  This is meaningful to me, because my second favorite holiday is the 4th of July or Independence Day.  It is a time when my family has its second largest gathering, next to Christmas.  We all get together and grill tons of food, light bunches of fireworks, and have the best of times.  It is the staple of my summer and one of my most joyous moments of the year.

Coming into this project I had a mindset to be very artistic, creative, and do something never done. I also wanted my art piece to be  very pretty and neat.   I chose to make this piece because I didn't want to do anything that was done over and over again. This tells that I am a very unique person and I want to stand out. I wanted to do something that I could look back on and be proud of and have people like "dannng that's decent"! This also tells that I take great pride in my work. I want to be proud of anything I create and have others proud with me! I don’t just do things just to get past. And I want this to be above and beyond. Beings though I am not an artist when it comes to drawing and painting, I wanted to show my creative way creating artistic pieces. I chose to make this because I wanted to be able to create something GREAT!

I chose to make  a pair of glasses light up because they represent how I like to discover new things and with glasses (the ones people use to improve their vision). The reason I am having them light up is because it represents my imagination enlightening my vision.

Shining Singing Light Box

Posted by Dior Thompson in Physics - Gray - B on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 11:21 am

I chose to light my Jewelry box. I chose this object because I really enjoy collecting all types of Jewelry. When i get older my goal is to collect Jewelry from different places. So far I have jewelry from Austin, Houston, Virginia, Connecticut, Puerto Rico. I fully intend to add more. It represents me because, I like things that stick out ,things that are sparkly, and things that also stick out just like me.

The item I choose was a Pepsi bottle. I choose it because it seemed simple and easy to do. Another reason why I choose the Pepsi bottle because it reminded me of my mom because she loves Pepsi.

I chose my hat with a lit Mohawk because I left that it shown a weird type of style and a new twist on a current style of Mohawk hats but lit! In the picture the dim bulbs appear dim but those two are actually bright
