This piece of art is about the first letter of both Jade and Juan´s name. We decided to do that based upon that is the beginning of our names. Thats is why we chose that letter J for our names.

Physics Project

Posted by Brandon Richardson in Physics · Gray · B on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 9:59 am

We chose to do a cube for our project because at first we were thinking about a project that could be creative and fun.So we chose to do a cube because it’s three dimensional and the cube can have various of lights to make it colorful. Also, the cube could be made out of various of materials,so we can input the bulbs/lights. This cube will be made out of acrylic and will be done in the Maker’s Space.
-Brandon R. and Nydirah T.

Reflecting on our project it was fun figuring out ways to make a cube. But it was difficult figuring out how to make the lights lit. It was also difficult trying to make the acrylic in the Maker's Space , but at the end of the day we got it done.

The Electrik Artz: By Victor & Denali

Posted by Victor Jimenez-Nunez in Physics · Gray · B on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 9:58 am

Artists Statement:

Victor: This Sculpture represents us and SLA in many different ways. With its 3 floors and a rocket which represents us, The Rockets, it includes legos which also represents the stubborn people from SLA. We originally decided to us a rocket and cut holes on it for the lights, but it wouldn't be a rocket so we asked, "Why not make the whole SLA building where we can use the 2nd floor to hold our rocket?" This sculpture not only says that I am from SLA, it also says that I live in a community.

If you are wondering:

This is a parallel circuit which is why it is shining so bright.

It's Lit o(K) !

Posted by Deja Green in Physics · Gray · B on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 9:49 am

We decided to do this project because we always get an ¨OK ¨ response from our teacher. So we wanted to express ourselves in this project . We are going to explain the different resistors for our 4 bulbs that made our project lit also how the current flows throughout the object that we made. We also are going to cover power and how we got our final answer . In the page below describes all of our steps and it tell us our resistors, current, and our power -Kelly & Deja

Electric Arts Benchmark Project

Posted by Katherine Russell in Physics · Gray · B on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 9:34 am

I had a hard, but fun working on this project. It was difficult because at first I didn’t know How we would get it to light up. Then some of the lights would not turn on. We got the hang of it, so it turned out decently. I had fun because we made a pizza. I love food! -Catherine. M We both love pizza, and we wanted to show a way on how to express that. At first we had trouble on what we should pick, but we then decided on a slice of pizza, because we both love to eat it. The brightest part is the tip, because it's our most favorite part of the food. -Katherine R
