Oil Spills

I picked this topic because its something that we do not hear too much off. I think we hear about an oil spill every now and then but it isn’t something that is constantly being talked about. We really don’t know too much about them. While putting the project Kelly and I both found information and pictures and we put our video together. I think that in our video, we just have some key facts so the video would probably be a little better with more info. Working IMovie was something pretty difficult putting it together because stuff would be deleting. The best thing is that I gained a lot of information that I did not know anything about. I think it was great that I was able to put it all together and able to present it to others

#MyNYPD

Posted by Trinity Hicks in Technology- Freshmen · Hertz · a2 on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 10:33 am
In 2014 the New York Police Department wanted to have some good publicity, so they went on their twitter, @NYPDnews, and posted a tweet,  “Do you have a photo w/ a member of the NYPD? Tweet us and tag it #MyNYPD. It may be featured on our facebook.” They wanted people to post pictures of them with someone from the police department. The intentions the department had went really bad. People started to post negative pictures of the NYPD. In some of the pictures that were posted, the police were pulling hair, hitting people with the batons, choking people and even running them over. If the police all over would do more positive things with the community maybe people wouldn’t look at them as abusers. If you want to have people post pictures make sure you have more positive than negative.
