For this project we had to create a conversational power point. We had a lot categories. We had to incorporate a video presenting a conversation of the topic. We had to also had to write the definition of each categories. We had different topics based on ser and estar. Then going more into detail with location verses origin.

Ser and estar

For this project me and Lucas worked together to create different vidoes. The videos were in spanish of course. Therefore they consisted of prepositions. The prepositions that we included were all of the prepositions that we were re rquired to. Some of these prepositions were en, con, and more. Me and Lucas recived a good grade for this project and thinking back we deserved it.

For this project, we were to create a spanish project where the plot could be the character in the story is sick and stays home, the character goes to school and feels sick, or the character goes to the doctor for an appointment. The project must be creative, and my partner and I found a really creative way to make our book special.

Spanish Children's Book

For this project we had to create a story for children. We had to work with another classmate. My part was to illustrate the pictures to correspond to what the story was telling. All in all though, my partner and I ended up splitting the work. and helping each other out. We were to add everything we had been learning so far.

Spanish Book Project

​For this project, we were asked to create a children's book in Spanish using various parts of speech and things we learned in quarter 2. After creating this book we will present this story to our fellow classmates. This book may consist of 10 pages and tell a story in a way the other students understand. Each pair of students worked together to create this story. My partner and I worked together and created a story called "Elena y el Brazo Roto", which is about A young girl who breaks her arm on a very important day. Please Enjoy!

Spanish Interview Video

​In this project we had to create a video about an interview that happens at a college. For this project I worked with Zack Waxler and we were able to get it done in time. We took several different takes to get it done and we finally got one complete run through that was acceptable. I think that the questions we asked were answered accurately in Spanish and the questions that were asked were sort of complex.

Spanish Book Project

For this project, we were asked to create a children's Spanish book using parts of speech to tell a story and present it to our fellow classmate. This book must consist of at least 10 pages and use images and words to describe a doctors visit. Each pair of students worked together to create this childrens Story. Mecedes Smith and I worked together on this book called "Elena y el Brazo Roto". This story described a young girl named Elena, who broke her arm on a very important day. I hope that you enjoy this story.

Día de los Muertos

Día de los Muertos was a project benchmark assigned by Mrs.Moran. Our job was to make sugar skulls,masks, and a english and spanish eulogy video. The second part was to color the masks and skulls in honor of our dead close ones. I chose grandfather and the color army green because he fought in the korean war.

​For our "Conversational PowerPoint" my partner and I created a slideshow presentation. The whole class were to  be able to build upon the basic communication skills mastered in the Spanish I course. Students will be using vocabulary, phrases and provided materials to create a presentation with video clips in pairs.
