Bangladesh has a history way before country was form itself, before 1971 Bangladesh used to known as East Pakistan and West Pakistan. East and West got into fight for official language of the country, but East Pakistan was most Bengali speaking side and west Pakistan wanted to make Pakistan as Urdu as official language of the country. Both side was disagree to each other as it lead to war and millions of people died during independence war. East Pakistan won the war and separated country with two side. Now West Pakistan knows as Pakistan And East Pakistan Known as Bangladesh.  The capital city of Bangladesh is Dhaka, The current population of Bangladesh is 161 million, estimated in 2015. Its make Bangladesh one of the highest population country in the world with rank in 8th. I found surprisingly higher than Russia, Germany and United Kingdom. In Bangladesh Nearly 88% of the people are Sunni Muslims, making Bangladesh one of the world's largest Muslim countries. About 10% of the population are Hindu and remaining 2% are others. The largest city and capital of Bangladesh is Dhaka. The city has an estimated population.

Bangladesh emerged as an independent nation in 1971 after breaking away and achieving independence from Pakistan in the Bangladesh liberation war. The country's borders coincide with the major portion of the ancient and historic region of Bengal in the eastern part of the Indian subcontinent.

The area's early history featured a succession of Indian empires, internal squabbling, and a tussle between Hinduism and Buddhism for dominance. Islam became dominant gradually since the 13th century when Sunni missionaries arrived. Later, Muslim rulers reinforced the process of conversion by building masjid (mosques) and madrassas.

The borders of modern Bangladesh were established with the partition of Bengal and India in August 1947, when the region became East Pakistan as a part of the newly formed State of Pakistan following the Radcliffe Line. However, it was separated from West Pakistan by 1,600 km (994 mi) of Indian territory.

Tower Gardens Photojournal

What factors affected your garden? What conclusions can you draw based on your observations?
The factor that affected my garden is that the less of an sun or too much of an water on two of my plant that are not grow any sign of roots or anything or it could be bad seed that we planted. The conclusions that I can inference in that When I was researching about tower garden, I noticed that they said growing in a medium rock-wool, which could provides plants with oxygen and consistent moisture, encouraging rapid, healthy growth. I noticed that when we plant the seed last week, we plant the seed in wet rock-wool and then we had to add extra water to the side, having extra water will it affect the the roots of the plants?
Question: Which procedure is healthier, planting seeds on the outside garden or planting seed in tower garden?
The tower garden is healthy environmental production food sever because you can grow your own food in the house if you don't have enough space in garden or you don't want to get messy outside, It's good for people who are not able to make change in outside, they could use tower garden at home to produce healthy food. My understanding of Earth as a system is that we have a "Photosynthesis" is the process by which plants, some bacteria, and some protistans use the energy from sunlight to produce sugar, which cellular respiration converts into ATP, the "fuel" used by all living things.

Land Pollution PSA

Posted by Md Uddin in Environmental Science · Aziz · D on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11:57 am
The land pollution is one of the most high rated land pollution in the United State, According the United Nations, the United States disposes more than half of its solid waste in landfills. ... In 2008, the United States produced more than 250 million tons of municipal solid waste. So we came up with a PSA to help others what will happen if hey throw their trash on the ground instead on putting on there suppose be. My contributed to the group was recording and directing the PSA or you could call it "Cameraman" and I played a important role in this group because I played two role and it was filming the video and directing the filming. We did well on showing people why they should not dumping stuff anywhere they want to instead of putting it on place and We could of re-do one of the video clip from our project because it wasn't best enough to be on the video but we run out of time and we couldn't have enough time to re-do it. The most meaningful part of this project was, showing people that this is not right and being wrong is not what good peoples do, you can still make difference in this society, do what's right recommend others around you because after all this is our world we have to take care of it.

I Stand with Standing Rock

#NoDAPL- https://www.facebook.com/search/str/%23NoDAPL/keywords_top
#NoDAPL- https://twitter.com/search?q=%23NoDAPL&src=tyah&lang=en

  1. How are people using social media to fight for social justice in this particular situation?

    1. People are using social media to protest with words, sharing photos, writing articles and creating videos to make others understand the situation with graphic content.

  2. Research hashtags people have been using?

    1. The hashtags are that being use for protest for Dakota Access Pipeline are #NoDAPL, #NorthDakota, #DAPL, #DakotaAccessPipeline, #StandingRock, #StandWithStandingRock, #HonorTheTreaties, #STOPDAPL, #SacredWater, and #RezpectOurWater.

  3. How effective are these methods of action?

    1. I believe these methods of action is very effective because their are more than few social media that people are using to spread words and stop the people who trying to run a oil pipeline in north Dakota, for example Facebook has almost 1.60 billion user, Instagram has 500 million user and twitter has 320 million user. I believe that our president “Barack Obama” will do something before his time over in officer.

  4. What is environmental justice and role does social media play in fight environmental justice?

    1. The environmental justice is the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies. The role that social media play in fighting for environmental justice is that helping create more attraction to the topic, involving more people in the situation of North Dakota pipeline, which give others benefits of joining over the social media to let their friends and family knows about it too, and create this protest strong how people care about river that only one with not poised by human.

  5. What do you think can improve the strategy?

    1. I think that strategy that can improve is people keep protesting until they stop the North Dakota pipeline and we need help from our president because all millionaire and billionaire care about make money and in North Dakota river that are the only river that has types of oil or any others stuff has been added to to water.

PART 2:

  1. Summarize and write your opinion to the article?

    1. This article “The largest bank in Norway, DNB, has sold its assets in the companies behind the $3.8 billion Dakota Access pipeline, and it’s considering whether to terminate three separate loans the bank has made to finance the project. The sold assets were worth $3 million. The loans under consideration finance up to 10 percent of the pipeline’s construction. Norway’s DNB is not connected to DNB First, which is based in Pennsylvania and is not involved in the Dakota Access pipeline.”

  2. Seeing as that a big shot foreign company just divested from DAPL, what would you like to tell the American people to do? How can the American people and government create an environmentally just America? Be specific and explain why your suggestion is helpful in creating a just society?

    1. I would like to tell all my fellas American people to stand with people of North Dakota Pipeline Protest because they are trying to make money, and we are trying to live healthier life and we are trying to save this river from getting poised one day for oil spill, American people can stand together and protest however they can to save the river from get access to the pipeline and government can help us by stopping this “DAPL” thing. This will prevent us from getting bad water from the river, it will help us having a only river that doesn’t have oil pipeline run in America and it will help us from getting any types of health problems.

Review PA Tax Dollar PSA assignment:

  1. This article is about North Dakota Pipeline that people are protesting against the oil pipeline and that the only river that doesn't have oil pipeline and people are counting about getting safe and clean water, they are think about what if the pipeline broke down some day it´s gonna spill all the oil and mixed it up with water and then people of Dakota will have no clean water, this protesting against the pipeline because they don't to get bad water they want to keep the water clean as it is. My reaction to this article is that is it a good things that they want to save only river that has not been puted oil pipeline and keep it like that, It's a good things to keep our river clean for clean water and keep our life from getting sick and stuff. Philadelphia people are involved with North Dakota Pipeline issue is that people from Philadelphia helping to North Dakota people love and support and standing against oil pipeline. We are give our taxpayer money to do stuff that necessary for our county but instead of improving they are trying to waste money and create more problem to the public for example if they run a oil pipeline between North Dakota river it will cause broken oil pipeline which will be no longer clean water for people to drink, So I want to send a message to families and friend to protest against this oil pipeline.

The Process:
Creating my spiral of theodorus took a lot time. First I Drew making a right triangle, And Angle A and B are 1 inch. Then I connected them to make a full right triangle. Once that is done, I made another 1 inch line to ward the 90* angle, connected to the previous triangle. I keep going until their was know space to make any other triangle.

Posted by Md Uddin in TECH (INTRO TO DESIGN MULTIMEDIA) - Hertz - d2 on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 1:00 pm
In my instructional video I decide to make motor fan for my tech project for quarter 3 and the reason why created because I wanted to create a small version of fan which run with Battery, I came up with smaller versions of motor fan that run with battery, So I can carry it with me anywhere I want, the reason why I make is and inspired me to make it because hot warm day at school I get really sweaty and because school fan is always at one of the 4 corner of the room and if you sit on others corner you will not able to feel the air, So I came up with old mind from childhood. The process that it took me to create this motor fan is about 3 hours, but technically it took be about two to three days because I was getting everything together. And I have learned lot of things during this project.
