For this art project, I drew a replica of lady Pink and smith art therapy. After I did my artist study project on lady pink, I was very fascinated by her work and her style of writing. I decided to redo this specific project of hers, because the colors are very vibrant and the piece was also very complex.Due to the complexity in this piece recreating it was a challenge, but I accepted the challenge and completed it.

The first approach was to color the drawing on a canvas, but unfortunately when trying to transfer the drawing to a canvas it did not look neat enough, because of that inconvenience, the plan changed to cutting out the drawing and gluing it on a black canvas.

The process of this art piece has its ups and downs, but it was very fun. It required a lot of curved lines, but the most difficult thing was drawing a the two dragons on the forehead, especially the one on the left, which is my non dominant side.

This project was also very time consuming and required a lot of focus, just to get colors fully distributed and lines drawn to perfection.

The materials used were; paper,pencil,colored pencils,canvas,x acto for cutting the drawing out, paint for the canvas and paper glue to glue the cutted out drawing to the canvas.

Still life in art is depicting objects that are placed together naturally, this is what I did for my quarter two benchmark art project. I wanted my still life work to be different from others, so by doing this I decided to put random objects together that does not match, by doing this people will see there’s no limit on art so they should try their best to think out the box. I had to draw it three different times before I did the final drawing and that made it perfect. The first two drawings were horrible, but when I did the third one I started improving.

Before I started drawing everything, I thought that the star would be the hardest thing to draw, but it was actually the base of the candle holder. The star was a little challenging but all I did was payed attention to get it right.The candle holder had multiple curves in it, so I had to make sure that they were all even and look the same. I enjoyed the process of drawing everything even though it was pretty time consuming because I wanted it to be perfect, especially the string/rope with the beads took up the most time, but it was worth. I definitely got better at shading and creating more depth within my drawings.I would also add more shadow to the candle stick,because the starfish was the only thing had a shadow on it.

I must say I really like this type of art and I’m looking forward to working on more pieces like this.

I decided to do a mix media project because I wanted to try something different. I never painted anything before so I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried that. My piece was a bird flying over a sunset from the view over an ocean. I specifically chose the sunset over the ocean because that is one of my favourite sites to see and the bird should be representing free roaming to me, but people can make their own interpretations.

After doing this project I can say I learned a lot about painting and blending colors etc. This was a challenge for me because it was my first time but I felt like I managed it fairly. What I did was, I first made a sketch then I started painting, and at the end I added the cotton for the clouds and the feathers for the bird and I also used sharpies to color the bird in.

I feel very accomplished about this project, because I had an idea and I visualized it. I would like for people to see this and not think the way I think but think of it in their own way.

In my Art class each student got an opportunity to design their own project. We were given options from different varieties of  Art pieces that we had to choose one. I chose the value line and texture drawing because I’m more comfortable with that type of Artwork and I think it would be easier for me.

When I started brainstorming I knew that I wanted to draw the face of an Animal, so I decided to draw the face of a dog, but it wasn’t coming out how I wanted it to and I later changed my mind to draw the face of a Lion.

I drew a Lion, because Lions are a very strong and fears specy. I’ve always told myself that I have the heart of a Lion, but I want when people look at this art work they find their own meaning, because this is art and different individuals should be able to have their own insight.

What I really like about this drawing is the eyes, I feel like the eyes gives it a realistic look even though it doesn’t look a 100% real,because I did have some problems with the hair and the background, but otherwise from that I think the facial structure was somewhat good enough.

Pablo Neruda nació en chile del sur el  doce de julio mil noveciento cuatro y murió el Veintitrés de septiembre de mil novecientos setenta y tres en Santiago, Chile después él estaba diagnosticada con cáncer. Su familia discrepo con su opción ocupacional que hizo. Fue nombrado cónsul chileno en Buenos Aires, Argentina, después sirviendo como Cónsul Honorario en Birmania en mil novecientos triente y tres. En la mientras, tanto él entonces se convirtió en amigos con  Federico García Lorca . En ese año, el traslado a Madrid y el se encontrose con Manuel Altolaguirre. Pablo y Manuel crearon una revista literaria llamado Caballo verde para la poesîa en mil novecientos treinta y cinco.  Renovó su actividad política y escribe prolíficamente el mil noveciento treinta y ocho después de que regresara a Chile. El mil noveciento cuarenta y tres, fue elegido al Senado y se unió el partido comunista. Después de que el gobierno chileno declaró comunismo ilegal, fue expulsado del partido del Senado.

Se casó el mil noveciento cincuenta y dos a su tercera esposa, Matilde Urrutia. Su dos último matrimonios, se divorciaron. Neruda era conocido como poeta de la gente y también recibió muchos premios como el premio internacional de la paz en mil noveciento cincuenta.

Mi nombre es Nathan Andrew Lewis, nací el veinticinco de octubre del mil novecientos noventa y nueve en Portland, Jamaica. Soy muy artistico persona y me implica en muchos  artes de la interpretación, incluyendo; actuando, cantando y bailando. Yo vivio en jamaica por catorce años y traslado a la América el cuatro de julio del dos mil catorce. Mientras que yo vivía en Jamaica, yo asisto dos diferente escuelas. El primer escuela que yo atendió, St. Magerates Bay, una escuela de toda edades, ellos me envió a una programa de cantando llamado “canciones de esperanza” para representar mi pais en St.Paul, Minnesota. Yo también tomó parte en la entera escuela bailando festival en la tradicional bailando sección.

El segundo escuela que yo asistió fue Titchfield secundaria. El solo actividad artístico que yo involucre en fue un dibujo tecnico programa en noveno grado. Después yo me fui de esa escuela, esto fue cuando yo me mude a  América. Yo me metí en la escuela Academia de liderazgo de la ciencia y ahora estoy en el décimo grado.

Su poema es sobre el amor. Dice cómo el amor puede doler y cómo puede cambiar alguiens punto de vista sobre el amor. Dice qué amor puede ser algo que te hace ciego a las cosas que están mal. Narra cómo el amor puede cubrir hasta cicatrices.

Cubre mi ojos y mi cicatriz,

Me hace olvidar el pasado

I chose to use this bunny because i had this since i was like ten and it was like an imaginary friend to me when i was bored.And even though i am fifteen now i will still say this bunny mean a lot to me because it kind of encourages me in many different type of ways.

I will say that this shows that i’m a person who likes to be different because not all boys are likely to be seen with a bunny.
