In order to began making my spiral I started off with a right triangle. The first triangle starting off with one inch. Adding each triangle starting off with a 1 inch line, connecting the previous triangle to the next. I continued this process until I couldn't make no more. With each triangle the hypotenuse continuously increases.
Doing this project was fun and brought back some math memories from the 8th grade.

I created my spiral with all of right triangles. The first 3 were a little tricky but after a while it gets easier with the more you make. Each side of the triangle was also 1.5 in. although they did get bigger with the more I made. Although the original design was 1in. I didn’t want my right angles to be small so what I did was started at 0 and used my protractor to marker the 90 degree angle that was 1.5 in. apart from the triangle before that one. I continued this process until there were no more room to make another one.

In creating the Spiral of Theodorus, it involved using a protractor for the angles and the sizes. In order to create this art piece, you have to measure the base, of the length you want your base to be and using the protractor to make sure all your triangles have a 90-degree angle. First, you have to start your mid point and after that, you draw a triangle with all sides that are equal.

When I created the spiral of Theodorus I had to use a protractor to make my angles and sides the correct length and degrees (90 degrees). Than I had to prove my work so I could know it actually fit into the category of a Theodorus spiral. I made a middle point to start myself off and mad every triangle line up to that point. I used the Pythagorean theorem to check myself with my triangles which you can see above. I wanted to make my spiral as apart of a chameleon because it's found in nature with this Theodorus spiral.

The Process:
Creating my spiral of theodorus took a lot time. First I Drew making a right triangle, And Angle A and B are 1 inch. Then I connected them to make a full right triangle. Once that is done, I made another 1 inch line to ward the 90* angle, connected to the previous triangle. I keep going until their was know space to make any other triangle.
