Wubbie and Brianna Artist Statements for Circuit Project

Posted by Wubishet Taye in Physics · Gray · A on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 9:44 am

Wubbie:

The 2 hearts represent our hearts. One for each of us. Inside, we have pictures that represents us such as our family, our flags etc…. The hearts coming together captures the moment our friendship collided. The photos in the middle are photos that mean a lot to us. Everything is black and white but when the hearts combine together, you see colors. The colors represent the meaning of our friendship as one.

Brianna:

The hearts represent us. In those 2 hearts, you see pictures of our family, our selves, etc... Those things represents us. Everything is black and white and alone but when you combine those hearts, you see colors, representing that when our lives come together, it gets better.  The colors represent the importance of our friendship as one. This is very important to me because I value true friendship.

1 point perspective

Posted by Wubishet Taye in Introduction to Art · Hertz · e2 on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 2:31 pm
The room I drew have a door, a window, a carpet, a TV, a desk, & a bed. Although my drawing isn't done well, I drew my ideal bedroom that I would like to have one day. The bed have heart shaped lights surrounding the bed because I wanted to have it  look presentable. I have learned how to use this lesson farther and also learned that everything have to go back to the vanishing point. I am most proud of the way I drew my bed. I love the way I drew my bed because it sticks out the most. I wish that I could have spend more time doing this project and wish that I took my time on the door.  One thing I have to say to a 9th grader is to always follow the direction and make sure that everything goes back to the vanishing point.

cell phone addiction and multitasking

Posted by Wubishet Taye in Intro to Tech and Comp App · Hertz · e1 on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 1:25 pm
The main idea of the project is about multitasking and cell phone usage. How much we spend our time checking our phones and what does that mean.  What is multitasking, how does it relate to cell phone addiction and what it can do to our time. The project goal is to gather data on cell phone usage using Google sheet and the checky app that collects the amount of times we checked our phones. I came up with a conclusion that being addicted to your cell phone can also cause you to multitask on 2 or more things at once and that can cause more time to finish all the work. One thing you should do when you know that your addicted to your phone is to turn off your phone or tell someone to hide it so you can do things that are more productive.
