  One Point Perspective Room

Posted by Mary Hertz in FreshmenArt on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 10:35 am
Melanie remembers those cool Paris mornings getting ready for class and rushing out the door just in time to catch the Métro.

Now, standing in her Missouri kitchen, she gazes at the plant that she grew from seeds smuggled onto the plane in her wallet, the candle, a gift from a fellow student before she left, that she only lights on special occasions, and the sign she splurged on the day before she left. "C'est la vie," she sighs.

Before washing her hands to make dinner, she gazes fondly at the last bar of French soap on the dish next to the sink. "Tonight, I'll make a croque madame for dinner," she thinks.

Na'ir Room

Posted by Nair Pettigrew in FreshmenArt on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 2:50 pm

Nair was on the bed laying down watching youtube, while watching tv. On the tv the show walking dead is playing, that is one of his favorite shows to watch since season 1. Nair is watching sneaker unboxings and sneaker collections on youtube, Na is inspired by these videos because he has his own collection that he has been collecting for about 3-4 years. He looks up to his sneaker collection because one day he wants to have his own sneaker store. On his wall above his bed he has a sneaker clock. Instead of a regular clock it is wall with shoes that stand for each number of the hour. It's a Jordan  collection the numbers from 1-12. Na’ir backstory to his sneaker addiction and basketball is that ever since he was 6 months old he has been playing and developing his craft while playing in the hottest shoes. On his door he has a basketball court that he won on a date at David Busters.

   Spider Despereaux Backstory

The picture you see in front of you is the room that belongs to the billionaire Spider Despereaux. Right now he is just relaxing in his house because he needs to relieve himself from stress before he starts his next architect design project. You are just looking at is his living room. In it you can see is his own portrait of him that one of his old artist friends made for him. You can also see one of the plants he got on one of his trips to Hawaii. The last thing is a birthday card he got from his family saying hello from the other side of the country.

One Point Perspective Drawing

In the picture there will be a big mirror with spotlights on them. It will be a clothes rack with her costumes to the side and like a nice wood floor with one or two chairs or couches. This picture represents a girl who has waited her whole life for this show and she is backstage getting ready for her performance. She has always wanted to dance and perform, but she has gone through many obstacles. In the beginning, she felt as though no one took her dream serious. They always said one thing, but did another thing. Then when the girl finally started dancing, she found out she had a injury in her foot and she had to stop for almost two stories. When the girl finally went back she had to start her dancing career all over, but this time the girl put her all in this. She practiced ten time more than in the beginning and when she danced you could tell all her true emotions came out. She just danced so gracefully and everything was on point. This was the room she got dress in before performing.

I am in the room. The room is a living room. I  remember the breeze in the Air of Florida. As I it in the living room of my house I remember many things I received from there. As I look on the table at the Disney World Candle. As soon as we got home we lit it. The photo album on the window. It has all our memories in it. The last thing in our house is our family pictures. They are memorable because it includes the whole family.

Art - One Point Perspective

Posted by Mason Norton in FreshmenArt on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 2:15 pm

Axel hated school, everything was so difficult and nobody wanted to help him with anything. Everything he had trouble with, and he couldn’t comprehend anything that was going on. He walked into his house, “Hi honey how was school?” his mom asked him, but he huffed. “School was fine mom” and he stomped up the stairs into his room. He threw his backpack and coat onto the floor, and flopped onto his bed, he reached over to turn off the light that he had left on, he felt safe in the dark and he didn’t really know why. Axel looked around the dark room and examined some things that had been in there, sometimes he does that when he’s bored and it’s entertaining to him. The black desk that had his laptop, where he spends most of his time doing homework and sometimes playing games when he has time. The brown, wood floor that had been cleaned earlier today by his mom, and his TV on the same side as your desk. His Window had a plastic cover over it, and the baseball that his brother had thrown through it because he was angry at you; and a poster of his favorite band on the wall over his bed. After he examines everything he can, he fell asleep, soon ready to get up for another bad day at school in the morning.

Room Drawing

Mike has just turned 19,and he is moving away for college. He brought the essentials with him and thought that he would go shopping when he got to college.Since its a private college you had the option of paying for a single dorm room,so Mike lives alone. At the airport,he saw a picture frame that lights up,so he decided to buy that for his new room. Once he got to his destination, he hopped off the plane. In the airport there was an item store,so he went inside and bought a nice bought a nice notebook with his college insignia on it. He hopped in the cab, with everything he brought him and moved in. His room was average, had a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom. He had brought with him his prized possession from home, a small water, vinegar tornado maker. He had bought it from his favorite museum, the Smithsonian. His Living room already had a tv inside and a fancy couch. The floor tiles were marble and the door had a polished wooden tint. There was a poster in the background that had the college insignia on it too!
