Blog post

1.I am doing this project to find out if I am addicted to my phone and make a comparison with my fellow peers.
2.What I learned now based on the data is that the majority of people use their time watching youtube (about 14 people)while the second use social media.i also learned that not one person said they use their phone for education purposes.
3.
#1: try to keep check of the number of times you use your phone per day.

Modified Multitasking & Cell Phone Addiction

My conclusion is that the highest number of cell phone usage is 173 and the average is 62. I say phones are like drugs people once people stare using their phone they can't stop its like once you start something you can't stop. I don't use my phone as much during the day but at night I'm pretty much on my phone all the time so I can understand what it means to be addictive towards your phone. I think the meaning of this project is to get a better understanding of how much time we spend on our phone and what the reasoning might be. Its might also help us with using it less if we know that other people check their phones more than you do.

Cell Phone Use Project

In this project we will be analyzing data from 9th grade students at SLA Beeber. This data represents the amount of times kids check their phones every day. In conclusion I found out that I need to check my phone A LOT less. Here is where I got my data.
I think some kids need to work on trying to do more things without their phones like homework. As well as limit their cell phone usage and working on not multitasking by of course spending time away from their phones

Through this research and reflection, I have learned a lot about how much our community truly goes through. It shows me how although I hear many different problems in our environment I never really thought or knew it was affecting me so close to home. This leaves me to wonder how will our city be in future and are their dedicated people and projects to change these problems in our community.

Cellphone Addiction

The purpose of this project is to show the phone use of myself and others. We will also compare and see how much we multitask and use or phones. In conclusion I saw that my peers used my phone more than me and they use instagram most of the time while they on their phones. Tips that I have is that we can turn our phone off while we are in class because its rude and a distraction.

Cell Phone Use project

The purpose of this project was also to learn about multitasking and cell phone addiction.I have discovered that a lot of my peers use their phone and they might have an addiction to their phone. I know that I should spend less time on my phone. I have also learned about multitasking and how it takes longer to do two things at once then focusing on one thing.I found two things that can help with cell phone addiction turn off notifications or sounds that want make you want to check your phone and creating a digital safe. How we collected are data was using an app called checky and it recorded our number of times we checked are phone. This is our Data

Cell Phone Use Project

The purpose of this project was to show us the amount of times we are on our phones and if we have an addiction or not. My conclusion was that I found out that I don't really check my phone as much as I think I do. My data showed me that more of the 9th graders check their phones more than I do. the tips I have are instead of being glues to your phone you should get outside and have fun. Maybe you can turn your phone off for an hour and read a book. Also download an app that helps you minimize your phone usage.CLICK HERE to see the data.

Multitasking & Cell Phone Use Addiction Project

The goal of this project was to be more conscious of your own phone use as it relates to research around learning, brain function and addiction.

What I found is that a majority of the 9th grade can be classified as addicted to their phone. When you look at the data you see people below the average, but also people way above the average. As in 30-40 checks per day above the average. Based off this finding I now believe it would be a good thing if everyone around the average of 71 checks per day started using their phone a little less.

The next step for those addicted to their phone, is to try and break or lessen their addiction. There are several things you can do to cut back on phone use.
Such as:
  1. Don’t sleep next to your phone
  2. Get an actual alarm clock, instead of using your phone
  3. Monitor your phone use
  4. Try and set a limit to phone use per day
To gather our we used the app 'Checky' so that we could track our cell phone use. After that we filled out a google form with our own data, which was then compiled into a google spreadsheet.

cellphone use project

In this project we are going to be finding out how many times people in the class unlocked their phones and what was their apps in used as they unlocked their phones. we used an app to collect out data the app we used was checky app. we filled out a form to gather the data on google sheets. we also had to give some tips here are some of mines. So you won't be freaking about your phone too much put your phone on silent or turn it off so your mind not focus on the cell phone. Or
Put your phone on airplane mode so u wont get notifications. in conclusion, Doing this mini project showed me a lot how the ninth grade unlock their phone numerous times for different apps.

Cell Phone Use Project

The goals for this project was to learn more about cell phone addiction and multitasking and find out how long is too long to be on your cellphone then try to decrease my cell phone use. Based on the data collected from the spreadsheet I think we should all work to stop using our cell phones as much and we should encourage our family to do so too. This is the link to the spreadsheet. This data was collected using the checky app over a few days. g off our phones off and putting them far from us.

Cell Phone Project Thingy

This project will consist of things specifically directed towards the topic of Multitasking and Cell Phone Addiction. It will help viewers with phone habits and inform them about the dangers of cell phone addiction.
The 9th graders use their phones way too much and should most definitely take it down a notch. If they don’t, our next generation will be overrun by technology, and it won’t be pretty.Try and separate yourself from your phone.
Actually realize how much you are using you phone, and check in on that daily.
Keep your phone away from you during your sleep and when you wake up. You should not wake up and fall asleep with it in your hands.
Be responsible with your actions!

See the slides below to be provided a more detailed analysis of this project!

Cell Phone Use Project

This project was slideshow used to find out how much the ninth graders at SLA beeber check their phones on a daily basis and how we could help stop the large amount of uses. To find this data we used two different apps to check our cell phone use then put the information that we gathered in a spread sheet and turned it into a graph. From this data I was bale to conclude that most teens in the ninth grade spend the majority of their time on electronics and are distracted from doing other activities. Some tips that I have thought of were for the children to find a hobby or play a sport. Cell phone addiction project

This project is introducing how many times people use their phones and while we do many other things do we ever realize that we multitask?Such as doing homework and texting or texting and watching tv. That’s what we studied and I found out by my own results I use and I depend on my phone way too much.I also multitask when I get bored of doing homework I’ll go on snapchat or Instagram. The goal of this project is to basically let us know that we use our phones a lot and we depend on them.My conclusion was that anybody would be addicted to there phone because everyone does there own thing and me examining people as I walked around I really didn't notice anybody on there phone a lot I probably did but I thought it was just normal. If you would like to do this cell phone use project I suggest you use some tips such as
in the future for doing this project is don't hesitate to go on your phone because you're embarrassed to see your results. It would be easier to examine the big differences or the similarities with your peers. Also get a week's worth of information just to see how much you could be on your phone and it’s better for you to know you have to stop being on your phone.

    Cell Phone Use Project

The purpose of the project is to collect data on cellphone use to see how we can control how much we use our cell phone. My conclusion from the data collected is teens use there phones a lot because of addicting apps because the most used app are apps that are made to be addicting. Teens do check their phones a lot and a little bit of ho addicted they are to their phone. Some tips to stop teens from being addicted to their cell phones is learn how to focus on the life they have now instead of the life they have electronically.
