My Cell Phone Use Project
In this project we were analyzing our cell phone use data gathered by the freshman class, and analyzing our cell phone addiction.
In conclusion cell phone addiction corrupts teenagers and distracts them from doing anything but using there cell phones. Cell phone addiction also leads them to believe they are multitasking when in reality they are only switch tasking my cell phone addiction compared to the rest of the grade is average
Next me and my classmates should delete apps that take up to much of our time, and when doing something important put away your phone so it doesn't distract you.
To view the final cell phone use data click here.
To collect the data we had the students of the freshman grade upload there lowest amount of checks and highest amount of checks over 2 days for their cell phones, what they spent most of their time doing, how they multitask, and their comparisons.

Tips I would give to my classmates/ peers are,I know for iPhones you have a opinion to turn off your notifications and I know it’s helpful to because this quarter is closing so you really don’t need the distraction getting in the way for your final grade what you can do is,
Go to settings
Scroll down until you see notifications
Turn off the main ones that distraction
- Always remember once you're finished you can always turn back on… But take a break once in awhile

Cell Phone Use & Multitasking Project
This project will be about the phone use of all the streams in 9th grade & what they did in that time period. We will be talking about how much time kids wasted on their phones. Also The least amount of times kids checked their phones. & Lastly What they checked their phones for.
In conclusion I would like to say that North stream had the most totals in all. We checked our phones the most (1000) & I believe that North stream is multitasking all the time on how they check their phones so much in over a period of 2 days. Also I would like to say that the lowest number of times someone checked their phone was about 3 times & that was from South stream. That is how our grades & our own data shows us about multitasking & our cell phone use addiction.
Some tips that will help you by using your phone less is by finding other ways of relaxing like doing homework or going out to a park so you don't need to use your phone so often as you did before. We collected our data by using app called Moment or Checky. We saw if any of our data's made sense or look the same in any way in our classes or in any other streams. You will be comparing your cell phone use to that of your peers and reflecting on your phone use and your classmates' phone use as it relates to research around multitasking and cell phone addiction.
I learned that most people need to get off of their phones and that we spend more time trying to be on our phones and we need to pay more attention to life.
Cell phone use Project
topic of this project is about how much people can be addicted to their phones. In this project I will be providing charts and data to support the claim that people spend too much time on their phones
In summary I found out that multitasking is a myth and that your brain does not really do two things at once. I now believe that staying on one task and not doing two at once is better for me and it would have a better impact on the quality of the work i would have been doing.
Tips
Don’t drink and drive
(JK)
But really it's better not to focus on two thing at once, it is always better to do one thing at a time so you don’t stress yourself out and your work will improve based on the time add instead of doing something else :)
