Reflecting on this article, I wonder how many more environmental justice issues I don't know about. This issue is literally life threatening and yet I'm just find out about this. Our politicians and the people need to take action to what is going on and not just try and silence it. If lead is such a big problem then we need to treat it as such. I find it disappoint how we vote and put so much trust in these politicians because they have the power to do something, but they are choosing not to. It's actually terrifying.

Toxic City Philly

Before researching & reading about the lead levels in Philadelphia, I really didn't pay attention to the lead levels in Philadelphia, or in general. After doing this assignment it really opened my eyes up to how bad the lead levels are in Philly and other cities. I believe that Philly needs to step more to fix these problems so the lead levels could go decrease and help health issues. The lead levels are slowly ruining kids health one by one and they don't deserve it. I believe that we should check our soils, check every kid for lead, and try our best to get rid of the levels in Philadelphia.

Cell Phone Use Project

Goal: my goal for this project  will be gathering data of the amount of time my peers and I spend on our phones then I will compare them.  In conclusion on average each student opened their phone 70 times or more per day.  One tip to use your phone less is to not sleep with it. We used an app to track our screen time.

Multitasking and Cell Phone Addiction

The object of this project is to collect data from the amount of time people spend using their phones and see how it impacts our learning, brain functionality, and ultimately know if we are addicted. After conducting my own experiment and observing the use of my peers it was concluded that multitask when doing homework by checking my phone frequently. I check my phone about the same amount of times as my peers, however spend most of my time on Snapchat while most of my peers spend their time on Instagram. To find the full data, we made a Google Spreadsheet with all of the class data, we found out data by using apps on our phones such as Cheky and Moment to track our screen time.

Cell Phone Use & Multitasking

The purpose of this project is to reflect off my and my peers phone use and use it to maintain my phone use time to a healthy amount of time. How I found my data was that I found my findings off of this data.How I found my data off this was by comparing all the data to come up with an average. People spend an excessive and unnecessary amount of time on time on their phones and looking at this, I now know what to avoid.

Multitasking & Cell Phone Usage

In the end, I came to the conclusion that most 9th graders spend a ton of time checking or being on their phone and that we spend a lot of similarities with how we use that time on our phones. 

Steps to help avoid cell phone addiction, 
1. Avoid looking at your phone when you are talking to someone, pay attention to whoever talking to you and turn off your phone altogether or silence your phone
2. Don't fall asleep with your phone in your hand, Set a time that you put your phone away for the night. 
3. Don't check your phone as soon as you wake up, Go throughout your morning routine technology free so you better prepare for the day

The topic of this project is on "Multitasking & Cell Phone Addiction". From the data gathered, It may not look like a lot but they check their phones too much in only one day. You should take 15 to 30 minutes away from your phone from time to time. People need to keep track of the times you’ve checked your phone so it didn't become a problem in the future.

The purpose of this project is to see how many freshman in each stream are addicted to their phones and how may times they check their phone. To be honest, the amount of people that use their phones is tremendous. I believe that the freshman should work harder on putting their phone down and picking their pencil up.

This project is based off cell phone addiction and multitasking and how it affects people .tips to help people with cell phone addiction is one thing put your phone on silent so you wont have the need to feel you have to check it because you wont know and really try to limit yourself . In conclusion i found out that i use my phone a little less then my class mates but me myself is starting to have a cell phone addiction .

I believe that some people in the 9th grade are addicted to their phones and also that multitasking can affect our grade and how we learn in school. I see that I check my less then most of my classmates too. Some tips that I have for people who use their phones too much are, you can have a time limit on your phone and only use it at a certain time in the day, you can not use your phone while you are doing something else including homework, classwork, and like watching TV, you can put you phone away while doing your work instead of being on your phone all day.

This project its about my cell phone use data and also my peers cell phone use data. Half of my peers well like 27 of my peers are texting while doing homework. Tips for my peers just work on one thing at a time and don't rush and do things cause that's how you mess things up

I believe that high schools use app on there phone too much. That what they're doing now can become a habit and start a big addiction for cell phones. While they also say that multitasking with there phone help it can decrease the amount of work done in a time period. This is all based upon data and website where i research multitasking affects and cell phone addiction.

Cell phone addiction is bad when you hear it, but you don't realize how bad until it is until you see how it's controlling your life. Multitasking is even worse than Cell Phone addiction. This project will explain how cell phone addiction and multitasking will control your life if you don't do anything to stop this addiction from taking control.
In conclusion, people on their phones will have a difficult time trying to stop this addiction since people spend so much time on their phones. People will learn that being on their phones for so long will affect their lives and can cause problems.
