Color wheel project
When I started thinking of this project I wanted to do something different from just a regular color wheel, so I went on google to see different ideas. I saw a color wheel on google and I liked it so I did that for my project. I did that because I thought it was cool how it had the colors in the leaves. Even though this is not my original piece I added my own touch to it. What I did was; I did a tint from the leaves going down to the root and I also added a background of different colors all splashed around in an unorganized way.
I think this piece was ok, it could’ve been better if I made it bigger so that the shade could show some more, but when people look at this I want them to have their own interpretation of it and I also wants it to show people to think outside of box and because of the background I want it to be seen as also a very vibrant piece of Art which reminds me a lot of when i first started drawing and coloring, I used to always use a lot of colors and I think that represents the kind of person that I am.
Atom
My work was created with more of a science art vision. I say this because I turned the color wheel idea into colorful atoms and I made my background all black. I expect people to get the idea through the circles being so close together leaving no room in between. My current world relates to my previous work because with any art piece I’ve ever created I made sure that it was some type of colorful. The whole concept of the colors is like my signature on any piece that i create.
An artist that I am influenced by is Andy Warhol because he is an artist who usually works with lots of colors. For example in his Marilyn Monroe pieces he shows how his colors affects different moods of his work. Anything that he does I try to do because he is a very unique artist who I think see things in his own way.

AMIN ROBINSON-Artist Statement
I created my work because I felt like a triangle was the most easiest way to convey colors in a broad spectrum. I felt my overall vision didn’t come out the way I felt but I did mixed the colors twice. I would expect harsh criticism and good advice of design choices from my audiences and viewers. My current ART work relates to my old one very differently because I was very creative back then and actually into art. My work fits within the current contemporary art very well because people seems to be basing the world on shapes and colors now and days using more shapes to create pieces.
My work fits in with the history of art practice because obviously people have an imagination. My work fits within a series of abstract projects I have done before because it was all in abstract way of conveying colors and shapes. My inspirations was for my idea of conveying a space prism of UV color spectrum. I am not really influenced by any artist but I do think that all artists have gifts that they must keep.
Spider Web
For the first quarter art project, my vision was to be creative. I really wanted to do something that others wouldn’t do. I also wanted to create something based off of the upcoming holiday, Halloween. I decided to make my color wheel a spider web because who doesn’t think spider webs are cool? I didn’t know how to represent my color wheel at first so I went on pinterest and found some ideas. Spider webs are also circular so I thought that would be cute as a color wheel.
I really like art and I like to think outside of the box. I want for my audience to see my work as bubbly and unique. This is what I want out of the color wheel project. Although I have never physically created a color wheel before, this project relates to my other works of art because of the creativity and colorfulness. Besides the eye appealing color, my work of art includes primary and tertiary colors along with paint mixing.
Art is something you need to be patient with. Sometimes it includes tedious movements and much attention for small detail. I feel like this makes the artwork better because more time is being spent on it. This is the type of things I do to make sure my piece of work is the best that I can make it. My color wheel is a really special piece for me now because I never knew I would be able to create something as eye appealing (to me) as it is.

Color Wheel- Flower
My artwork is simple but very fancy. I wanted to take something simple and make it look very nice. My art is just a flower but I have added some dots and circles in the back front on my art work, I also added black fades strips inside the flower. At first I didn’t really like my art, it was just the flower and it looked basic, but then I decided to add the black strips to make it look better. I think it all came together, It was very colorful.
I want my audience to see the details in my art, the colors, the dots and the different patterns. I use to work with a lot of patterns and do henna designs which had to do with different items. I worked with different type of flowers also. My designs fit with art practice because at first I started off with a basic flower and then I added every design I thought off and included it to my flower to make it look good.

Colorful Dancer
I created an art wheel out of a dancer’s outfit. When I first had seen this idea it automatically made me think about my childhood as a dancer. Instantly I had a flashback on how colorful and bright our outfits were on that stage. There was not a better choice selection for me then to do this dancer. Overall, I had a lot of fun creating the vision and actually creating the work. I think my visual display of the color wheel came out very nice and the time and effort is very well shown as well. Most people should give a positive feedback. I have gotten positive feedback and people’s feedback during the process of the art work.
With that being said, I knew what I wanted and I also took people’s suggestions as well. Most people should give a positive feedback. Contemporary art has started to be something with the use of a lot of color. A lot of images are blooming with color to get the people’s attention. I have learned that different brushes and mallets work better to evenly distribute the pigments of the color to mix. I have never done a project piece like this, but for being my first time I feel as though I did it very well and I accomplished it because of the positive feedback I have gotten.
