The Internet and Me

Slide 1 is about repersatation. And what i mean by repersatation is that what you post somewhat reprsents you as a person. Like lets say you are a really happy joyful person then you would post joyful happy stuff. And if you have some type of prjudice then you will post hurtful stuff.

Slide 2 is about emotions. And what i mean is that my choices affet how people feel. Like i can post something rasist and people will get angry or i can post something about how a place in any country helps children with cancer with a 80%  of working. And that would make people feel good.

Slide 3 is about non-bias posts. And thats my rule because its not right to discminate people because of their belifes or sexaull oriantation. So i beleve people should think is what they are posting will hurt a certain group of people. And if they do it on pourpose then thats not right at all.

The Internet and Me

Slide 1-  The word that I put for how my online choices affect me is knowledge, I put knowledge because I go online in search of something that could possibly benefit me.

Slide 2-  The word that I put for how my online choices affect others is peaceful, I put peaceful because that's what my posts are meant to to do and no one has said anything other than that.

Slide 3- The word that I put for my number one rule for posting online is re-read, I put re-read because you need to go over your posts to make sure that you are not offending anyone.

Internet and You

Slide 1: This slide shows a quote from Warren Buffet about how long it can take to get your reputation and how short you can ruin it.

Slide 2: What you post online can  make or break friendships.

Slide 3: You need to be careful of what you post because if you don't have your account on private anyone can see it.

The Internet and You

Slide 1- Impression. The word I chose that expresses how my online choices affect me is impression. What I do online gives people their impression of me. First impressions mean a lot and usually that happens online. When somebody looks you up they get a certain impression and that's how they see you. I would like my impression to be good, that's why I chose impression as my word.

Slide 2- Relationships. The word I chose that expresses how my online choices affect others is relationships. I chose relationships because when you do something online you could either gain a friend or lose a friend. Your family and friends see what you do online so it could easily affect them. You could hurt your relationship online without even realizing it. Also, you can meet people online so that's a good way it affects your relationships.

Slide 3- Reflection. The word I chose to express my number one rule for posting online is reflection. What you post online is a reflection of you. What you say and do online defines you. What you do online is how people see you. Be careful what you post because people see it as a reflection of who you are.

The Internet & YOU

Slide 1- What you post is a reflection of you. The people that view your post will probably come up with some perception of you. They will judge you.

Slide 2- Remember that you aren't the only one seeing your post. People have different ways of receiving and interpreting things. Often times what you post trigger reactions and feelings that you didn't want it to.

Slide 3-Always think before you post. There is no turning back after posting something. One stupid decision can lead you into a sticky situation.

Slide 4- Stay positive when you post. Don't let the trolls get to you and DON'T become a troll yourself.

The Internet And Me

Well I am just trying to explain how overall people should act online. With my first slide I'm showing that if you don't be yourself and try to be someone else or try to start Trouble it can start arguments or physical fights. With my second slide, I'm showing that if you just are positive and don't start trouble you and everyone else online can be Happy. Finally I just want everyone to be Safe online because you don't know who is watching .People have new technologies and can find out everything to your life by just your name or password.

Internet & You

Slide 3: Think before you post or share on any social media site because it might not effect you but, it could effect someone else.

The Internet and you

You could have two identities the real person that you are and you could catfish, and that is a fake person so be careful of who you talk to.

First impressions are everything, they describe who you and we will judge you on first impressions because that's who we think you are.

When you post something online it can become out of your control very quickly because people can share it over and over again and there's no way of stopping it because its out of your control.

Social Media With Anisa

Your reputation is a resemblance of you if that is what people see on social media when they see you in person that's there first impression.
Social Media can affect your conscience because it will change your mindset and how you think throughout day to day life and what you do.
My #1 rule is to take caution when online because you have to take charge of whats happening and who you follow and what they're capable of.
Social Media is a community so you should treat as you would a normal community and not post trash and disrespectful things.
Respect is key to social media especially when it comes to comments and making posts direct to others so respect people like you'd respect your parents.

The Internet and you

The first slide shows you that what I do online has the power or the chance that I affect my chance of success in the future.

The second slide after that shows that cyberbullying can create violence and problems within our communities and we need to stop that.

The last slide represents or shows you my online rule and a reason why you should avoid the haters/trolls

The Internet and You

On the first slide that I created it was talking about the things that I found on the internet that can affect me. The second slide is how people have different opinions about things and it can cause a fight. The last one means to keep things private that should be private.

The Internet and You

Slide 2:The 2nd slide is about decisions you make and the possible outcome. The butterfly symbolizes the butterfly effect which is the positive and negative effects of your choices.

Slide 3: Is the way people see things and how they see things differently. The picture are the reactions people might have after seeing thee things because remember everybody had different opinions.

Slide 4:The fourth slide is showing how you have to approach things with caution you kind of have to be paranoid or do things with caution.Because at any point you can be targeted and if you feel like you are then you might want to be careful.

My number one rule is never add, accept, or trust anyone you don't know.Unless you ask a friend if they're related to this person or if they know them and seen them physically.

The Internet and You

You should be smart about what you post online because it may affect people first impression of you.

Cyber-bullying can lead to those can lead to suicide, don't hurt others feelings.

Always think before you post.

Being A Conscious User of the Internet

1) Anything you post permanently stays on the internet. Even that offensive meme you posted ten years ago will never go away. Ten years from now, someone can see things you post and judge you based on that one post from a long time ago.

2) Remember that Obama Campaign poster. Even though he recreated the picture of Obama, the original photo was used and he disobeyed copyright laws. Make sure that whatever you post or re-post, re-tweet and recreate should be following copyright laws.

3) Know that whatever you post online, there can be consequences. Whether good or bad, someone can be affected by what you post. Make sure before you post think, is this post going to have a negative or positive affect on someone and would my parents approve of what I post? Questions like these help me be aware of what I post.

The Internet and Us

1)  My online choices affect me in many ways. The things I put on the internet reflect who I am, and those choices give people a certain perspective of me. Whether it's Instagram, Google, or a school website I should always be careful of what I post.

2)  The choices I make online can also affect other people. Depending on what I post my actions can either hurt or enlighten them. For example, if I were to post a mean comment about someone on the internet it could be very hurtful to them, but be very funny to other people.

3)   My #1 tip for people posting online is to be careful, you never know how what you say can affect others or even yourself, it's better to be safe than to be sorry.

The Internet and You

When online, make sure you watch what you write because your decisions of what you post can affect others. For example cyber bullying is a serious issue that is still active and mainly because of negative harassment from one user to the other on the internet.

The internet can really hurt your future if you don't watch what you post/write. Everything on the internet stays on the internet even if you delete it. Colleges/jobs look at what you post and they're not going to wan't to accept someone who is smoking/partying etc. every night so make sure you keep yourself together online and be mature.

My number one rule while being online is to be yourself. Its the best way to be and its better that way. No one likes a person who's totally different online, than in person.

Internet and you!

  • I described myself as responsible when I am online because I know my boundaries.
  • I motivate people when I post something online because I want to be able to touch people's heart.
  • My number one rule I gave myself was to be respectful when I am online because I want people to view me as a nice person.
