The Internet and You
Internet and you!
- I described myself as responsible when I am online because I know my boundaries.
- I motivate people when I post something online because I want to be able to touch people's heart.
- My number one rule I gave myself was to be respectful when I am online because I want people to view me as a nice person.

My online choices affect other feelings because I could post a bad picture of them or call them ugly or anything like that, and their feelings could get hurt.
My number one rule for posting online is think before you post because sometimes you aren’t thinking and you just post a funny picture, but really other people are getting offended by it and don’t find it funny.

survival guide A.B
Who are you online, how do you appear? I appear to be a wise person on the internet that look in the future to check there won't be any conflicts.
How do you think people perceive you, based on this appearance? They think I’m a person who you shouldn’t mess with that much. Or they would get bored of me really fast.
What do you consider before posting anything online? Every thing I like to look over everything that can start problems.
What are the pros and cons of sharing online? That people can use that against me and the good things is that they can relate.
social media guide
When I am online I am the same person as I would be in “real life”. I am the same funny , pretty and nice person as I would be in real life. I log on my social media and i post and appear as myself , as people call it today i am not a “Catfish” I think I am perceived as someone that is really pretty and nice based on what they comment and say. Before I ever post anything online i consider what my mother would think if she sees it. If i'm posting a picture I make sure i'm not showing too much skin and who is in There are many pros and cons of sharing online but I feel like comedy is the best one. A pro would be sharing a simple funny picture to make your followers or friends laugh but a con is if someone shares a personal photo that wasn't meant for sharing it can get out of hand. |
Free speech is giving a peaceful way of speaking your mind and being able to say what you want without being disrespectful also what is not protected is when you freely speak but with violence and disrespect
Tips are to always be honest and not give out personal information. My Social Media Survival Guide
Online I try my best to appear as mature and respectful as possible. Because of the past arguments and photos that I have posted in the past people may have viewed me as, fun, outgoing, crazy, and/or “too grown.” Now that I am much more aware of what I post now people may see me as, respectful, mature, and/or hard-working.
Consider these 3 questions before posting online….
Will my college dean like what they see when searching me?
Will my boss/supervisor like what they see when searching me?
Is this the way my parents raised me?
Keep in mind that every and anything that you post online is immediately out of your control and now that is permanently online and saved into your computer. Unless you personally make your accounts private any and every one is able to see what you post.
There are always pros and cons to everything. Pros about being and posting online is that, people are able to get information and stay in contact with friends/family. But… Cons about online is depending on how you say certain things people can get offended, you could also lose your job or not even get the job, and lastly you could not get into the college of your choice.
