Botany Benchmark

In this video, Cash'e interviewed a fellow gardener about the importance of Urban Gardening and how it plays a role in our community. We chose this topic because throughout the year we felt like Ms. Aziz was emphasizing on the how important plants are to the economy and how we shouldn't underestimate them at all. So, we wanted to go more in-depth on this topic.

I believe that I contributed extremely well in this project. Unfortunately, I wasn't there with Cash'e for the interview, but other than that I tried to contribute well for the project. We came up with very good questions for the interviewee, which I thought was our strength, but one thing we've could've done better was collaboration. I felt like we were kind of all over the place and had to procrastinate a bit to get back on track. The most meaningful part of this project was the information we received from the interviewee which could be used for future reference for anyone who's interested in gardening.

He is very athletic and wants to base his room on sports and his favorite athletes. Therefore , this is the room and lifestyle of my character. All the items he uses the most in his room is  his basketball sketchbook and laptop.

The person that lives in the room is my mom. The scene is when my mom is laying down in her bed. You see the door to the far left, the closet doors close to this door, the television, the table below it, the bed, and the door to the far left. Three important items in this room are her pocketbook, her jacket, and her phone.

Ignite

Well for my Q1 i was not able to submit it because of the fact that it kept deleting so I was never able to finish it. And now i have added information about me and also my work that i have posted on slate.

For my Q2 project i was going to make a 3D model of one of my favorite anime’s main characters masks’ but i ended up finding out that was a little too hard to do. So then I ended up making a Lamborgini using 3D models

And for my Q3 project I took a picture of Donald trumps hair, Adam Silver's face, and also Roger Goodell’s face. And i did this because of the fact no one really like Adam Silver or Roger Goodell and the commissioners of the NBA and NFL. And Donald Trump is someone who a LOT of people hate so I decided to photoshop them all together.

Well for my Q1 i was not able to submit it because of the fact that it kept deleting so I was never able to finish it. And now i have added information about me and also my work that i have posted on slate. So here i'm going to tell you guys a little about myself, i am an aspiring video game designer who goes to SLA@Beeber. Im hoping to get into a college that offers a good Engineering and Design program. I also want to move to California after getting out of school. And i want to travel around the world through my life that why i want to be a video game designer and move where my job takes me.

One - Perspective Room

I remember this room from my time writing, thinking, and rapping in that studio. I experienced a whole lot of feeling and seen a lot of things that happened.

Now, it’s still the same thing for me, I walking in that room, seen the mixing board, mic, and headphones. I see the recording room. So many song recorded, that were recorded when i was going through things, when i wasn’t going through.

When I’m on my way to the studio, I thinking about the songs I’m about to record, how far its gonna

3 years ago when Brandon was in japan. He was celebrating the golden weeks , during the night, they have some events, on the street there has a lot of lanterns blooming together, that was the first time Brandon feeling marvel at circuit. The second time is during junior-high school graduation trip, at the last night, everyone let the daylight flow up, about 5 hundred daylight light together, it was magnificent, also, it contain the memories in my own country.

Physics Sword Project

The reason we chose this was because the person who uses this sword is Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy he was a Soldier well an Ex- Soldier and basically we wanted to replicate this sword to say thank you to those solders who dedicated their lives for us. It might be weird way to thank them this but Cloud went through a big ordeal and this sword protected him and his people just as the soldiers have there arms to protect us. Cloud will continue to protect his world just like how the soldier will continue to protect us

Electric Art - My Pillow

I decided to use my pillow because I like to sleep. My pillow plays a big part in my life and deserves to be presented. This pillow tells the world that I appreciate the little thing. Nobody really acknowledge how powerful a pillow can be. I love my pillow and wanted to show the class how much I love my pillow and sleep.

Breanna Savage & Quamir Rothwell Benchmark

For our benchmark we used a Van sneaker and made the laces using the lights. We chose to do this because it represents that we like sneakers, and we thought it would be cool to use lights as laces in a sneaker. A good use for this could be if your walking at night and you can't see the lit up laces can provide light so that you can see where you are walking.

Electric Art Project

We chose to build a duck because building a duck was the first thing that came to mind. This project would challenge as building wise and give us a chance to push ourselfs. We felt that building a duck would exceed the project expectations. We thought it played into our everyday lives in a way we could take very much pride into it. We will be very proud of this from and for a long time.

Physics Project

For my physics project, I decided to make a figure lights up and still be able to spin.  I chose to do this because I believed that it would be a simple task to do and if I did it right, it would get me a good grade.  It turns out that it wasn’t as simple as I thought.  I ended up running into many casualities such as not being able to spin the spinner.  It took a lot of thought but I finally figure it out.  I decided to glue a stick onto the spinner so that I could hold it and be able to spin it.  What this says about me is that I get bored very easily and I always require something to do or else, I won’t know what to do with myself.

We built this specific design because we wanted to challenge to test our engineering skills. We wanted the design to be based off of a superhero that we both liked, It was flash. We wanted to paint it flash colors but we only had blue lights, so we went with Flash’s enemy Zoom. So the colors changed from the yellow lighting bolt with all red, to blue lighting bolt with all black. Then it was time to put our engineering skills to work.
First we focused on the hardest part, which was making a circle out of a rectangle piece of wood. We used a bucket to trace two circles out of the rectangle wood and startinging cutting it out with a Japanese Handsaw. We had to cut it to make it look like a octagon and to make sure we didn't go past the line. Once we cut as close to the line as possible it was time to sand it down, first we did it manually then we noticed it would take a long time so we used the Sand belt which sped up the process a lot. When we were done with the two circles we had to put them together but have a space in between so that we would have enough space to put the lights around. Jeremiah drilled four holes into the circles and used nuts and bolts to hold it tightly together. Then we used the laser cutter to cut out the two lighting bolts.
Then it was time to move on to the stand, This part was all Kenny. Kenny picked out the wood we needed to build the stand. Kenny took measurements of the wood so it would look nice, then he had to cut the pieces out. First he used a Hot Glue Gun to start the stand, but then moved to wood glue. Then we wanted the stand to open up so we could access the battery and wires. When the stand was done, we had to paint it. Kenny painted the whole thing while Jeremiah put the series current together. The wires were hard at first because he kept cutting them by accident. But it turned out to be impressive. We had trouble with putting it all together, There was too much space in between the stand to hold the circles with the symbol on it. First we tried using nuts and bolts again, but we could not screw the nuts on the bolt so we asked for help….Then the Makerspace manager said “ try the nail gun. We put some wood in between the stand enough so that it can hold the circle when we use the nail gun. Once we were done with the nail gun it was complete !!! But Jeremiah wanted to add the final touches to it. He used the laser cutter to engrave the creators names. And it said “ The Legeendary Creators
                                                                                                               Kenny N. & Jeremiah W.”

I made this design out of a car that I had, I inserted some leds into it and they were lined up parallel, the front lights were brighter because they had a less amount of ohms and the back lights had more amount of ohms so they needed more current in them in order to light up brighter. The battery was not containing enough current to fully support the back ones.
