Stomp Out Bulling

A couple things came to mind when I looked at this image. One thing was how it gives a clear and direct statement about bulling. It flat out says "stomp out bulling" and I could not agree more with this statement because of the fact that its so simplistic. That is why I choose this image to present. I also like the artwork that is presented with this image and I found a statistic that went hand and hand with this image. Every 1 and 4 people are bullied and the four feet in the picture represents this.

Jorge G. Bullying not accepted ...

I chose this image because it shows that there is people out there that actually care about bullying. My image shows that this girl is against bullying. I like the message that this picture is sending out because i am also against bullying. What i am trying ot convey is that you should never be a bully and you should also be against bullying.

Be careful when you are online

I chose this image because when you are online you and your identity are never safe. This is a picture of a person stealing someones information and making their online identity look bad. I have learned from experience to not put any information that is private or will make my online identity seem bad. I know people who have had to recreate their whole online identity because of one mistake they made when they were on the internet. To recap what I am trying to say basically if you are online don't put any imformation like passwords to your personal accounts just for an example online where you think people will see it and use it in ways you don't want to use it.

Project Game Creator

The purpose behind the project was to create a game that everybody will like. It would be so different that everyone will be amazed. I hoped to learn how to make money from creating a game. I learned that technology does not always work the way you want to. i also learned that creating a game the way I did was not complex as I thought. I think the project was very successful and people will really like it.

Quarter 2 Project: Webs.com

At first, I wanted to create a Youtube video for entertainment purposes. But since that was not in reach, I decided to revamp my website I made a few years back in the beginning of 8th grade. I had hoped to learn what it takes to run a real website where people would view, and I learned not only how to do that but how to also make it appealing to the general audience. I feel like I pretty successful in my project, learning and enjoying how to run the site more.

I chose this picture because it shows kids our age and these are the people most affected by cyber bullying.  I'm trying to portray the message that anybody can be affected by cyber bullying and want to commit suicide. It is never their fault it is the bully's fault and a anybody no matter the race can experience . It is a current problem and these kids in the photo are a current example of students today.

The message that I'm trying to convey is that everything you do, even the little things, can possibly have an effect. I chose this image to show this because I thought it was a good representation of how one thing can easily lead to another. The hand touches the water lightly in one spot, but still it causes ripples to move throughout the water. To me, the idea that everything you do effects something else is interesting, and this picture kind of shows it. Simple things such as liking a Facebook page can effect something in your future.

Cyber-bullying

This picture can say a lot, it shows a teen in the dark with his hands on his head. I think this can show how people can be lost been they are being cyber-bullied, and being lost feels like you are in the dark. The kid with his hands on his head can show the headaches and pain of being bullied. This image stood out to me because it really shows what cyber-bullying feels like. Lastly, I think that the statistic can, also, really show the pain of being cyber-bullied.

Against the law

No cyberbullying
No cyberbullying
Cyber-bullying is a federal offense to the law. From no matter what age, anyone can go to jail or pay a fine or both if this felony is committed. The fine for this would be from 5,000 to 10,000 and may be even greater. This is most seen in the teenage area but can start in any age starting from youth.

Cyberbullying

I chose this pictures because this is something that in America most people have in their home or have access. I believe that people that are given access to internet and computers have to make a choice, whether to responsibly use it or abuse it. You can do endless things on the internet now, which makes it easier easier to cyberbully others. Because there are no

I decided to choose this image because I wanted to show different people working on computers not necessarily think about who is going to read their work.  I wanted to show a small number of people that have the privilege to use the internet and do most things on it.  The message I am trying to tell is that one should consider that other could find the content not appropriate or just offensive. I am not saying that everything that's posted is insulting one person or group of people. I just wanted to say think about what you are posting before you post it.

Cyberbulling

The picture I chose was a picture of a girl with texts surrounding her and she was in tears. The picture basically demonstrates how words from texting can make someone feel. The words around the female was very harsh and mean words basically someone describing her or saying things about her. Cyberbulling is a type of bulling that isn't face to face but, is over the internet or over the phone. In this picture this demonstrates cyberbulling.

What Goes on the Internet

Screenshot 2014-12-15 at 9.12.04 AM
Screenshot 2014-12-15 at 9.12.04 AM
I chose this image because it conveys how the Internet can turn on you. What you post on the Internet is hard to remove, and can end up haunting you for the rest of your life. Things you post on the Internet can even affect your job, and you can be fired for what you post online. The Internet may seem like a unique place to explore, but if you're not careful it can turn into a nightmare. This image displays an evil-looking computer, which is an artistic representation of the Internet becoming dreadful instead of enjoyable.

A picture is worth a thousand words

I chose this picture because it shows that this person actually feels comfortable on the internet and I think it should be that way for everyone. The internet should be more of a place where you socialize with people and make friends not bullies. If everyone made everyone feel comfortable and safe, the internet would be a better place. Meaning more people would be respectful digital citizens.

Cyber Use

Screenshot 2014-12-15 at 9.18.08 AM
Screenshot 2014-12-15 at 9.18.08 AM
I chose this image not because it says Microsoft, but because it says Internet. On the internet, you have a freedom to say what you want. Along with that freedom, comes responsibility. You should be responsible with what you say on the internet, and that is what I was trying to say on my post. Words are powerful, so don't use that power to do harm.

What you type can hurt someone

I chose this picture because it stood out to me. This picture is of a keyboard and is basically saying watch what you type. Some people think that some things that they type won't hurt anyone, but that's not always the case. You should always watch what you type because if you stop cyberbullying before it starts you can always save a life. You can always take control of what you can online.

I chose this image because it looks interesting and the message is Beauty is in the eye of the BEHOLDER. That means that every has some beauty and people need to respect each other by not judging themselves and others. I learned in this lesson that when people comment on photos they can be very judging and it can sometimes be very harsh and some people can't take it.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

I chose this picture because it shows how kids get bullied over text messages in this world nowadays. This image shows a strong message because the words that on the picture show you how hurtful it can be to be called these names. I'm trying to get the message across that cyberbullying is wrong and there is a lot of victims. I think they should put an end to all of this because kids are killing themselves over getting hurtful text messages. If we all step up and stop sending hate to each other then we can all stop this together.

I chose this picture because it reminded me of a story in the lol omg book. In this book  betrayal happened when in the book the girls betraying their friend by sharing her racist video to the public. Betrayal is one of the main things needed in a friendship. Betraying someone online is the worst way for someway to betray you exposing everything to the public.

I chose this image because many people who are victims of bullying try to take their own life. Not many people know the extent of bullying and what it can lead to. This picture shows how serious bullying can be and what can be the outcome of just a few harsh words. By using this picture I am trying to show the effects of bullying and how easily someone's life could be over based on people's rude comments. Therefore, people should not judge and harass others because you never know what the outcome might be.

Please Stand Up... To Cyber-bullying

The first thing came to mind when I saw this photo was the fact that it was perfect, and that it help comprehend what I wanted to write. Some people just do not wanna stand up to cyber bullies because they just do not have the voice. I tried making something that has a motive to help these people. Plus the term of calling someone chicken basically means that you are scared to do something. Overall this is something that helps the community and I hope others enjoy it!

Cyberbullying

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
One of the largest issues our class discussed during our "Digital Citizenship" Unit was cyberbullying. Cyberbullying affects 52% of American teenagers; like all bullying, cyberbullying makes people feel alienated, lonely and ashamed. I believe these emotions are conveyed through the image above.
The only was to stop cyberbullying is to raise awareness about it: say something.

A Right of the Digital Citizen - Wesley White

I chose this photo because one of the first things we talked about in our Tech class were the rights of a Digital Citizen.  The reason that this photo displays that theme is because the picture shows a little kid using technology.  I think that because he is a little kid it shows even more clearly that anyone, even a little child, is able to use technology.  If someone knows how to use any technology, they should be able to use it, even if they are young.  Also, children should be taught different things about technology at a young age so they can know more about them.

Sculpting Right

I don’t start out with a particular image when sculpting. When I sculpt, I only think about what’s in my hand and where I can go with practically nothing. I relate with only a slab of clay thinking of it as my life.

I start off with thinking of how life can never be exactly perfect, same thing with sculpting. When you are sculpting with your fingers, you’re using basic tools you hands.

With my piece I decided to not color it because the earthly tone was the look I was going for.

I had fun with this piece of art and look forward to doing something more advanced in the future.
