Color Wheel- Flower

My artwork is simple but very fancy. I wanted to take something simple and make it look very nice. My art is just a flower but I have added some dots and circles in the back front on my art work, I also added black fades strips inside the flower. At first I didn’t really like my art, it was just the flower and it looked basic, but then I decided to add the black strips to make it look better. I think it all came together, It was very colorful.

I want my audience to see the details in my art, the colors, the dots and the different patterns. I use to work with a lot of patterns and do henna designs which had to do with different items. I worked with different type of flowers also. My designs fit with art practice because at first I started off with a basic flower and then I added every design I thought off and included it to my flower to make it look good.

In this project I want to show you what my passion is. This project is about my life and what I want my career to be. On my website I included my Instagram page with pictures of the work I have done through my ILP and on my own time. On my website I included my about me page, home page, resume page, and project page. To build my website I started off by choosing my layout for how I anted mine to look. Then I started designing my website from there. It was difficult trying to organize my home page, it was just kind of hard all together because I didn't really know what I wanted to put. If I was to do it again it would look way better with more content. I learned that I could make a website.

Spongebob's Door

Talib Coffield
Talib Coffield
I have created this project because it was something that I felt like was creative, different, and spontaneous. My overall vision for this project was to make a vault from a bank. What inspired me was movies that I watched, and in the movies there were people that robbed banks. I wanted to do this, because it was a topic that I have never heard of before and it seemed different to me. However, working and getting further in my project I changed the vision. I now am doing the door to spongebob homes. I did this because really I didn’t like the way it was looking, so this was kind of a last minute decision that still applied to why I created this work. I want people to see the fun in my project and see that it wasn’t planned, detailed, or elaborated. It was an off the thought process for both the first and for the ultimate product. I don’t think none of my previous projects really related to this project, simply because again for this I basically free thought it. Other projects I planned them out and they were projects that I did rough drafts for. The outcome for this project is also different because for me it is just like “ I did this to do it “ I didn’t do it to receive major or constructive  feedback. My work fits in with contemporary art work because It is talking about spongebob. Spongebob is something that many will deem as 21st century, that they think is currently a big thing. It fits in with history of art practice because history of art practice studies why certain pieces are basically essential to the way media portray them. I think my piece does that exactly being as though everyone love Spongebob, and the everyone knows about it. This project doesn’t fit into old things that I did, because my objective behind it is way different than what my other projects were. My inspiration simply was Spongebob. Relation is really important to me when I do things. Without relating to a certain something I don’t really feel like my work is complete and full.

Colorful Dancer

I created an art wheel out of a dancer’s outfit. When I first had seen this idea it automatically made me think about my childhood as a dancer. Instantly I had a flashback on how colorful and bright our outfits were on that stage. There was not a better choice selection for me then to do this dancer. Overall, I had a lot of fun creating the vision and actually creating the work. I think my visual display of the color wheel came out very nice and the time and effort is very well shown as well. Most people should give a positive feedback. I have gotten positive feedback and people’s feedback during the process of the art work.

With that being said, I knew what I wanted and I also took people’s suggestions as well. Most people should give a positive feedback. I have gotten positive feedback and people’s feedback during the process of the art work. With that being said, I knew what I wanted and I also took people’s suggestions as well. Contemporary art has started to be something with the use of a lot of color. A lot of images are blooming with color to get the people’s attention. I have learned that different brushes and mallets work better to evenly distribute the pigments of the color to mix. I have never done a project piece like this, but for being my first time I feel as though I did it very well and I accomplished it because of the positive feedback I have gotten.

Color Wheel

I like abstract art and lines/curves are very easy to work with but can be very elaborate if done right. I wanted to paint a sequence that blends itself into the other colors over time, I did this so the audience can see how subtle and then extreme the transitions of colors can be. I didn’t expect any particular reaction based upon the vision I went with but I expect people to just say their honest opinion of it as they have up until now. This piece has my signature wavy look to it which reminds me of many of my past works.

I always tend to go more in the abstract direction because I like the style more than realism and the end result is more of my liking. This relates to the fairly recent artists that have moved away from the realism approach that was originally established, leaving us at a time of preference. My personal preference is of course abstract which is displayed in my pieces and it fits into the more obscure art styles that have arose lately. Although I like abstract art a lot my inspiration was just the idea of abstract as a whole, no specific works were drawn from.

I always liked the art that leaves you thinking without much to go on so I wanted to recreate that. I learned through this project that easing up on my brush leaves more control even though the entire process goes a little slower sometimes as a result. All of the paint has to be done going in the same direction so that colors do not clash or mess up how the colors look on the canvas, so it took long compared to how quickly I usually finish a piece.

Basically this piece was just my abstract take on the color wheel. It took me awhile to get everything aligned right, but I’m proud of the end result.

Color Wheel Project

I created this work because I wanted to make a spider web for the color wheel aspect of the project, but as I looked I saw others had the same idea. Instead, I made something similar, but it’s like a web/wheel instead of a full web. My vision for the work was for it to have multiple wheels that had the primary, secondary, tertiary, and tint each in their own wheel. Also, I wanted it to be very straight and proportional , like I wanted the colors match for each wheel. For anyone who sees the project, I want them to look at it and not see the mistakes right away, but admire what it is and what it could be.

I haven’t really made any art in my life because I don’t consider myself an artist, but I can relate this to my artwork back in 9th grade. In 9th grade, I drew a shoe which was based off of the shoe I was wearing at the moment. Although the art piece lacked color, it reflects how I draw and in this color wheel project there have been improvements in my art and creativity. In today’s art, there are similar aspects where the tertiary, primary, and secondary colors are used and it is similar to how it is used in my project. The color wheel also gives the basic for color art in general. Art is created with different and various colors throughout the years, so the color wheel brings out that history of the basics in color art. This aspect reminds me of the value scale I did in 9th grade, with the different shades of black and it gets lighter the farther you to the point of white. That project was the first thing that came to mind when I thought of the color wheel. This link was my influence for the project, but I don’t have a specific artist that influences me today.

http://www.jalapenopaintwerx.com/blog/bid/209865/Paint-Color-Ideas-for-the-Home-Jalapeno-Paint-Werx The technique I used to make sure the wheel had 24 places was I added the tint before the primary color of that tertiary. So, if I had a red-orange space on the wheel then the next space above would be half tint and half primary color which was red used to make the tertiary.

In all, the project was one of my best pieces of art that I created. Although I wasn’t able to make my vision into a reality, I believe my project draws from my own idea of a color wheel that looks unique and different from any other. I don’t consider myself an artist in terms of drawing, but there isn’t a such thing as great art given that there are so many interpretations of a good art piece. I made my color wheel knowing this aspect of there is no good art, I was able to freely paint.

My Color Wheel Project

I have created this piece of artwork because I love colors and I felt like if they all came together as a closing light it would look nice. I also created this because I never really paint and I never do creative things so I thought that If i did this it would change my experience in making an art piece.  My overall vision of my work is simple and beauty. I know that there are other paintings out there that are better than mines but coming from me, a person who doesn’t really like to do stuff like this it is nice. I am very proud that I was able to create something that pops out at you.
People who see my artwork won’t really be excited about it. It’s a simple art piece with lines and color. There may be some people who say that it is nice and other who think not. My work would fit probably in the middle. I know that people are more creative than me so there's would be at the top and I did better than other so I would rank myself to be in the middle. My art work fits in with the history of art. It fits in with the color systems. I did colors, colors in between and over the top colors.  Which was basically the color system. They played with colors and made many more colors in comparison to me.
Inspiration for my art work… I would have to say, is the art piece Ms. Hertz has on the wall. It’s a girl with her umbrella that is colorful all around. That was inspiration. I felt like I wanted to do mines bigger and better. Also art piece that I found online inspired me. www.colourlovers.com. My work would fit nice in an art exhibition. I would go with the art work that goes circular with lines. Similar to my art piece.  My work relates to others because we all used the same colors. We just all have different minds. Someone else's mind is more creative than mines. People who see my artwork won’t really be excited about it. It’s a simple art piece with lines in color. There may be some people who say that it is nice and other who think not.
Knowing what your doing is the most important technique. If you know what you're doing you’ll be on track and in the right direction. If not you’ll probably do good but you won’t know the ending. It’s like reading only the first page of a book and stopping…. You’ll never know the outcome. You should always do what you're most familiar with. It’s cool to think outside the box but make sure you're going to go through with your plan. Also staying focused and true to your artwork is a good technique that I learned in the process.

Color wheel By Tiffany Irick

https://docs.google.com/a/slabeeber.org/document/d/16odtRKADgqS_i_GVY2AUf1hmQuTT75Dn3eg_hzZec8g/edit?usp=sharing

I chose to create my work because I wanted to be different from a lot of other people. I seen lots of eyes for the color wheel and that was exactly what I didn't want to do. I choose something that was “loud” to me. My painting was of a man who was screaming. Hile scream he was blowing out colorful bubbles. I want to something I spoke to everyone and I just spoke quietly  but spoke loudly. I expect to get nice reactions from our My audience saying if it was different. My current work relates to my previous work because I like to switch it up. It is very colorful and it speaks loud.  I believe all my previous work was  very colorful and it spoke out loudly.  my work has never been boring. The word fits in with the current contemporary or because people are still  painting now.  this is Art that's been and still is being created. My work fits in with the history of art practice by painting. The oldest painting known to man is about  40000 years ago. People are  painting. My work fits into the group exhibition or series of projects I have done by color choice. my work has color pop in common.  my work varies with different shades of color.  Leonid Afremov is one artist that I look up to when I think about color. His work is so bright and vibrant. It is almost like you can see every color in the world. My work can lead to a portfolio of color. I can create more work or painting that express a story with colors. To make my work vibrate i  had to go over my colors more than once. I used that technique so my colors would pop out and stand out more. I haven't learned anything new this quarter by doing this project.  During this quarter  created a color wheel that was different from the others. A color wheel that spoke loudly and clear. I believe if any my work was more loud like this color wheel I can really have a nice and bright collection. This quarter I have realized that color can bring a painting more to life than ever.

Collin's Color Wheel

I made this because I thought it would be a good way to convey my idea. I knew I wanted to do something with basketball but I didn't know how to make it into a color wheel. But when I looked up basketball color wheel I found what I wanted to do. I think that they will think that this perfectly fits me. People express their feeling and their passions through art so I showed my passion I have done basketball art works in the past and this can fit into a series. I looked on google for my pictures. No artist have really influenced me in the past to make any art projects. Only basketball influenced me.

Website Project

I created my project using Wix. We were supposed to design a website with 4 pages. My goal for this project was to meet all the requirements but make the website easy to look through. From my own experience on the internet I know that I hate seeing pages filled with words. It’s very unattractive and makes me not want to read. Throughout this project I kept that in mind. To make this a little easier the project was completed using checkpoints. With checkpoints no pages are rushed and you have about the same amount of time to finish each page. When I first started I was going to use weebly. Weebly didn’t allow me to make everything I wanted the way I wanted it to be. After that I moved over to Wix and I liked it a lot. I learned through this project that it takes many errors to get your final product because i’m the type of person who likes to do everything 1 time and 1 time only. If I were to do this again I would know to use wix which would save a lot of time I wasted trying to find a site to use. I think i’m going to continue editing and updating this site as I work on my resume.

Eye Color Wheel

IMG_20161031_093324
IMG_20161031_093324
I created this project because i think the eye is the most interesting part of the body because there is do much detail and story withing someones eye.My vision for this work was to make a creation an eye that had the details of an Instagram models makeup but also when you look in the eye you see inspiration and open ideas. I meant for this piece of art to appeal to teenage girls.
This relates to my previous art work because I usually direct to the audience of teenagers. This fits into today contemporary art because most "art" is directed towards teenagers and how they think.I think it fits in with historic art because it experiments with colors and using colors to create emotion. It is important to go with you gut when completing a project because if you dont then the project wont come out how you visualized it and you only have yourself to blame. A new technique that I learned is that when painting, you should brush in one direction because it makes the painting look more uniform and appealing. I also learned that being open to you own ideas and not worrying what others think can make a big difference im your work.

Color Wheel

kashia artwork 001
kashia artwork 001

My overall vision for this assignment was to create something colorful and pretty. I expect

that my audience will like how visually appealing and creative my color wheel is. I think they will react in a positive way. I did a colorwheel last year. The one I did this year I felt that it wasn’t an improvement from last year. I was rushing this one and didn’t really put a lot of effort into it than my previous one.

It fit with the current contemporary art because the art nowadays is always so creative

and appealing and I think my color wheel has those same qualities. My art fits in with the history of art practice because a lot of art I saw in my lifetime was multimedia art and I think my art is that to because I used sharpies paint coloring pencils and markers. My work fits in with the series of projects I have done because they were all creative and colorful. My artwork relates to other artist because artist try to create something that is eye catching and I think I was trying to do that with my color wheel. A new technique that I learned is easily get your design on the board and you can do this by using the blue tracing paper.

In this project I felt that artwork is  colorful and pretty. Also I think it is visually appealing

and creative. I hope to attract a lot of people with my artwork. I may not have put all my effort into it like I did with my last color wheel but I did try to make it have a great outcome that people will like. I chose the flower design because I flowers are pretty and a lot of people like flowers.

Think Before You post: Story of Amanda Todd

Think Before You post: Story of Amanda Todd

Amanda was on a meeting new people webcam website, and she was on there she met this guy. This guy convinced Amanda to pull her chest out on the webcam, and i'm guess he screenshotted it. The guy  kept making profiles on facebook that technically kept showing her chest and having everybody see it when every time she switched to a new school he would go under cover and make a new profile and add her as a friend. Then she put a video on youtube talking saying how she was getting bullied and blackmailed.  A little after a month after posting the video, Amanda hung herself in her home.

  • Immediacy- the way that immediacy plays into this  story is she just showed her chest to the guy that she didn’t know. Amanda knows she shouldn't had did it, but she did it anyways impulsively. Amanda  just did it because he was pressuring her to do, so she just hurried and did it.

  • Permanence- the way that this story shows permanence is when she posted the video which is was 4 years ago, and even though she died it’s still up there. That shows how if you put something on the internet it’s going to be permanent.

  • Lack Of Control- When Amanda showed the man her chest he probably screenshotted it, and Amanda had no control over where that picture went even though she didn’t know it was up there. Amanda still had no control over it when she died  and that's just a perfect example of lack of control she had no control over who had the picture or even where that picture went.

The effects of this situation with Amanda is that she showed her chest to a stranger on a webcam, and ended up getting bullied for showing her chest. My advice would just be Amanda should've never gotten on that website if she never would've got on the website with strangers then none of this would've never happened. My point is think before you just do something impulsively.

Here is the story and video of Amanda Todd: https://nobullying.com/six-unforgettable-cyber-bullying-cases/ AND https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gycqAJcDFM

The big "Troll of the web"

Michael Brutsch is a 49 year old man who worked in Reddit, and went by the username of “violentacrez” . In 2008, Michael made the “jail bait”. The “jail bait” was a place where Michael put images of 14-year olds in bikinis. Although this was a big thing in the web, this wasn’t the worst that michael did. Later in his career, He made a subeditor called “creep shots”. "Creep shots" is a post in Reddit where people posted pictures of women in public, without telling or asking them for permission. All of Michael’s Negative blogs, plus his racist comments got him fired from Reddit, and gave him his nickname, “Troll of the web”. Now michael is 57 years old, and still holds the nickname “troll of the web”.

How does Immediacy, Lack of control, and Permanence play a role in Michael's life ?

The first thing that happened to michael was immediacy. I don’t know what he was doing when he created the “jailbait”subreddit, but, i’m sure he wasn’t thinking about immediacy. The minute that he clicked share, it was over. The whole world could see what he had posted . Now, that wasn’t the only thing that was immediate in his social media. The other big and immediate thing that happened to michael was the Lack Of Control in his social media. The minute that michael posted his comments and pictures in the reddit, it was automatically out of his control. The posts had now been copied and shared thousands of times, and there was nothing that michael could do about it. That’s how he got fired. It all started with the blog he made, “jail bait”, to the “creep shots”, and finally the racist comments to the jews. By then, he got fired and thousands of people started to recognize him not as “violentacrez”, the man who was the top blogger for Reddit, or the #1 worker for Reddit, but people are still recognizing him as the “troll of the web”. The biggest impact on michael’s life is still permanence. The problem with permanence is that it nevers leave the web. 50 years from now, if someone searches up the name; “Michael Brutsch” or “violentacrez”, his whole story is going to show up. Another major problem that has happened to Michael is that only the negative stuff pops-up when you search his name. This isn’t changing anymore. It’s there forever! Looking at the story of Michael Brutsch, iit is important that you always Think before you post.

"White Makes You Win"

This article has a negative effect on the people around us. In this was a cosmetics video featuring Cris Horwang and another model. They show a model with a very light skin-tone and then they slowly begin to show Cris appear in a darker skin-tone. It was like comparing a white and black person together. Then the narrator then says, "White makes you win" as to say that being white or a much lighter skin-tone is better. This may make others of a darker tone feel insecure about themselves. Immediacy- the video was sent out after edits and filming.

Link to the article: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/jan/08/thai-advert-white-makes-you-win-skin-whitening-lambasted-for-racism

Another link: http://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/health/thai-company-pulls-ad-claimed-white-win-article-1.2489893

Permanence- They didn't delete it but they did apologize because it was racist and they didn't realize at first. Lack of Control- Once they uploaded it they couldn't control the comments and things that they got.

Amanda Todd Crucial Story

In this article, it’s a story about a girl in the 7th grade who was name Amanda Todd, who commit suicide from being blackmailed from a 36 year old dutch man. She was in a webcam watch by random strangers and she decided to flash to the webcam. An account name “Tyler Boo” decided to screenshot her flashing to the webcam. Tyler boo started to threatened her saying that if she doesn’t send him more pictures of her, he will expose those pictures to every person she knows and everyone in the world would see it.  Amanda refused to send him more pictures of her, so Tyler boo uploaded the pictures on a porn website and send the link to every Facebook friend she had. The next day when Amanda went to school she was know as the “girl in the picture”. She was slut shame and embarrassed. It was leading her to depression and anxiety. Later on Tyler boo went on and made a new fake Facebook page calling himself Austin Collins and connected to all of her new friends from her new school to make it seem like he went to Amanda’s school, the profile picture was of her flashing. She thought of an idea so she grab a black marker and white paper and made a video of her explaining her story on the paper and then posted it on YouTube, The whole world saw the video. On October 10th Amanda decided to take her life away in her mother’s house alone.

Immediacy: The lack of threats she got from the blackmailer cause her to have depression and suicide

Permanence: Well the pictures that Tyler boo had of Amanda he posted them everywhere and now the whole world can see them until today

Lack of Control: it led to the point where Amanda had no one to talk to so she took away her life since she was getting threat's by the same person.

If I would to give advice to Amanda and everyone else is to speak up and report it! Don’t take your life away, there are other solutions that can be handled in a different way.

My Color Wheel Project !

I chose this art piece I created because the original one I chose failed horribly. I kept messing up , and the more I messed up the more I got stressed. With all of my messing up I fell way behind. So I came to my senses to recreate an easier project. My overall visual of my project is that I made a basic color wheel clock. I think i’m doing a little better on this one since it’s basic , and i’m actually taking my time doing it. I expect honest comments because it will help me do better on the next benchmark. My current work relates to my previous work because for my previous work I also chose a difficult project to do , and ended up failing it. I just did a plain , simple, boring project, just to get a grade because I was so focused on doing the big creative one. My art fits into contemporary art because it is not too fancy , yet not too boring. It’s just easy and modern. My art also fits into the history of art because multiple people have created a wheel similar to mine just because its basic. A number of projects I do for painting , I always seem to come up with the better looking ones in my mind , but on paper it’s a different story. I always use hard ideas , when really all you have to do is think simple then when your done your outline that’s when you be extra creative. To come up with my original project I just googled some ideas, but for my final piece I just thought of an umbrella , but then my lines kept ended up being crooked , so I thought I should draw extra lines in the middle of the lines I already had to create more shapes and ended up liking the idea. An artist that influenced me was Georgia O’Keeffe. She influenced me to do my flower color wheel with all of the difficult shapes and the pretty light coats of paint. Another person that influenced me was my friend. I really liked how hers was turning out but didn’t wanna use the same idea so I spiced my up a bit adding the extra lines. A certain technique that is important is drawing very lightly drawing your outline just incase you dont like it and wanna erase it . When you draw too dark it’ll stain your paper. A technique that I learned while doing this project is when painting you do light painting first and then you do more paint just to get an even amount of paint onto your paper.

My Color Wheel Project

I chose lips for my color wheel project because I thought it would be more creative than everyone else just doing the basics of a circle. I made them really big because I've been told I have big lips unfortunately. I'm not saying the one's who did a circle weren't being creative I just wanted to do something more....complex. Overall, I really like my project. There are some disadvantages with me with this project but I honestly think I did a really good job at catching back up. I expect my audience to really like my project as much as i like it.
I think my current work has gotten better over the years of my previous work because last year I had no idea what I was doing. Now I'm more experienced with art and the criteria. The thing that inspired my art was..myself. I wanted to do something that was about me. I chose a flaw that I didn't like about myself and turned it into something beautiful. The artist that inspired me was Joan Mitchell. Her art is so fascinating because you can't say what it is or what it's not. It's complicated and that's how I look at myself. I'm complicated, that's why I like her art. A new thing I learned was that painting over paint numerous times can ruin the board. I learned that the hard way.
In conclusion, I really liked this art project. I think it fits me and I was influenced by Joan Mitchell. Her complicated art. I really expect my viewers to like my art because not only is it neat and colorful, it's also very creative.

The woman who committed suicide after being accused

                               of Facebook  addiction

For this assignment, please find a story about an individual's use of social media (it can be a positive or negative use) and explain the story and the effects that this choice had on the individual's life or the life of others. Also, please explain how Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control played into the story and give the individual advice for their online life.

Source  :

http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/scolded-for-facebook-addiction-army-officer-daughter-commits-suicide/1/344357.html

The Article  is about Sushma Goswami, She is a 24 years old Indian Graduated girl, when   she completed her graduation she Opened a Facebook account where she has more than thousand of followers. Now she spends her most of the time on social networking site. and the site quickly turned into an addiction as she started spending hours in front of her computer.  Which also affected her younger brother he also took a liking for it.  Spending time on social networking site also make them not to focus on their studies. And that's why they both raised the ire of their parents for neglecting their daily chores while doing little else beyond spending time online. In February 2014 Sushma became  so frustrated of her parent's objection for using social media and that's why she committed  suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan.

The advice that I have for Sushma is that She shouldn’t  committed suicide because suicide never can be the solution of a problem. Bravely  and patiently facing the problem and tried to  find the solution of the problem can be the solution.

The Immediacy played into this article because Sushma’s  interest on social media causes  her to committed suicide.

Permanence played into this article because even though she past away but her Facebook ID will still be there because she didn’t delete her account.

Lack of control also played into this article  because now people can get her information, photos, status etc from her account because now she don’t have any control of it.

The Influence of the F-Word on Social Media with Rowan Blanchard.

Justina Thompson

Freshman Technology

Mrs. Hertz

Actress, Writer, and Social Media Activist, Rowan Blanchard, has introduced a brand new, optimistic, strong-willed perspective on social interactions to a generation of adolescence that may impact our future usage and meaning of our online accounts, profiles, posts, and the content that we allow to be viewed by others by explaining the imperative nature of the ‘f’ word: Feminism.

Blanchard explains the effects of her confident choices and decisions on social media in the article, as well as how they have affected her, her friends/family, and the billions of young girls who admire her. She is active on almost every social media platform, including Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook. But, she is acknowledged most for her official Instagram profile that obtains a whopping 4.6 million followers and 1,555 posts (as of November 1st, 2016.) However, she is not only well-recognized for the photos that comprise of her “feed” or “layout” on the application, but for the promising message that she is able to share consistently about the importance of Feminism and equality for the female gender. “I think it’s important for girls to recognize feminist issues because it directly affects them,” She told Entertainment Weekly at Instagram’s #MyStory initiative event. “It’s a difficult thing to speak out, but belonging to a sisterhood makes me feel like I have the power to speak my voice.”

Immediacy, Permanence, and Lack of Control play massive roles in Blanchard’s life. Immediacy, for example, is used as the most common attribute to her posts and commentary that she shares. The time that it takes for her followers and a great number of others to view her content is little to none, but as time gradually passes, the Permanence of the posts begin to spread. Prior examples of Permanence are placed in articles about Blanchard. Screenshots of the content that she posts can be used for public viewing or ideal samples of her outstanding commentary about the relevance of Feminism. Lack of Control is a final component to Blanchard’s social life. Although the feedback being given to her is positive for a larger part of time, there are negative responses. The adverse part of interaction with social media is that there is no way to control the opinion of others, regardless of the intention behind them. But, despite that, Blanchard handles pessimism quite well. In a past article, Rowan was chastised for not smiling in some of her Instagram photos. “I don't think people realize how rude and hurtful it can be to just see comments where people say ‘Are you depressed?’ I post on my Instagram what I like. If I want to smile, I will! Nothing more than that. I wish people would stop reading into things.” Explained the star via Twitter. From her graceful and mature behavior online and offline, Blanchard is a more than adequate representation of mindful social media usage for all ages and genders.

To summarize, social media can have an encouraging effect opposed to the ample majority of negative stories that are told and spread across the Internet, and can also be a tool for advocating critical and significant information. Rowan Blanchard continues her reign as a well-known social media figure in the public eye, and her actions go on to extend the message of Feminism and online etiquette to people of all ages, especially young girls. My advice to those who are using social media are to take Rowan Blanchard’s technique when using their online profiles. Approach the situation positively, consider things mindfully, and think about what you post before you post it to have a safe, healthy, and fun experience on the Internet.

Media and Design Project

For my project, I had to create make an online portfolio of my work and my résumé. When completing this project, I had to first think of a theme for my website. Once that was done, I was able to finish my About me page and soon the Résumé and Featured Projects came into onto the website and I got everything done really quick.I had to change the background multiple times for copyright reasons. Soon, I changed this into an image that I have taken instead of finding one through search engines.I learned how to navigate well through the website maker in an efficient time. I learned that I really like an artistic type style for myself and it reflected through my website.

I would probably do a different theme and play around with the controls, along with the other things that I can possibly do with the website provider I used. The reason why is because I would be able to create something better than what I have with more experience. I would tell other people to play around more with the different things available on the eix website because this was something that I simply didn’t do. I don’t believe that I was inspired quite much for this project, but I know that with this project, it made me wanting to express myself even more than I do now. All pictures and images were personally taken from myself for this website I have created. I believe my message on the homepage has really dictated the mediums for my website because I didn’t think much for the mediums until I figured out my message.

Color Wheel Project

I have created the color wheel because I felt that it would be easier for me to just do a regular circle but I wish that I was more creative in adding stuff to my circle to show some creativity in my project. My vision was to show that I can use tertiary colors, primary colors, and secondary colors for a color wheel. My main vision was to show that I can be very creative in a art project. Which is something I will bring to Quarter 2 project. I expect my audience to know that I at least tried to be very creative in my project and worked hard on it. I think they will say that my project is very nice and she worked hard on getting the right colors. My current work relates to my previous work because I’ve used different colors before to show my creativity.

My work fits in the creativity of current contemporary art. My work fits in with the history of art practice because in this time I am still learning how to do different art styles and how to paint. My work fits into a series of projects I have done because most of them involved being creative and for this project you could be very creative in what you do. How artists use colors to make a nice piece of art influences my images. I have been influenced by Vincent van Gogh because of the creativity he had put into his artworks. I have also been influenced by Pablo Picasso also because of his work. A certain technique is important to the work because it helps you get the right color you need to make your work. My technique is to make sure I mix the right amount of colors to create another color. This technique is important to the work because it is easier to get the right color also so that you don’t add too much of a color. This is also a technique I have learned in the process of making this work.

In conclusion, my piece was overall a good project but sometimes difficult to do because it was difficult getting the right color for tertiary colors and mixing them with white and getting the right color for that. But at the end I still tried my best. My artwork shows the hard work I put in to create it and how I used the colors to express the meaning of my piece.

Color Wheel Project

sakura

When thinking about doing this project I decided to make my color wheel out of a spider web because, I really like the design of the spider web. I also didn’t want to do a basic color wheel because other people were doing it.  My overall vision was to create a huge spider web with different sections to show the color wheel.  I expect my audience to see the difference between the tints and original colors. My current work relates to this color wheel project because in middle school I had did something similar to the color wheel. The only thing that was different about it was  that the paper we had to color had numbers on it that corresponding with the color.I think my work relates a little bit to contemporary art because when I looked up what it was I saw how the artwork was colorful and eye catching.

I think my color wheel would fit in with contemporary art because of how colorful it is. I don’t think my art work fits with anything really because, I never did anything like this before. But if it did fit into a category it would be contemporary art.  My inspiration came from google because I was looking up different ideas I could use to do a color wheel than a basic wheel .I wasn’t really influenced by any artist. I guess I was influenced by the different art I saw on google for the color wheel examples. A certain technique I used in my project was using a sharpie to go over the lines. I realized when doing this it made my artwork more defined. To me personally it made the colors really pop more. I learned that you can use only three primary colors to create so many other colors know as your secondary colors. I am very proud about the artwork I created because it is something new and I think it turned out really good.

Colorwheel

The art piece I chose to do was a color wheel of a eye with a certain background. I chose this piece because I thought that it would be interesting art piece and I wanted to see the outcome of it. When I finished the art piece I was very satisfied with the results I did not expect the piece to come out the way it did. Even though there was a number of people who chose to do an eye I still think mine was good to I did not really pay attention to anyone else's. I have always went all and out with my artwork on previous project but I do not think that I did that for this project but I will be sure to do that on the next one.

During the process of making this piece I had a few difficulties such as mixing the colors and how dark or light the colors would come out. I think that in the past there has been a lot of color wheel art that have become famous. This projects is not really similar to any other projects I have done in the past but it did come out good like other projects I have done in the past. The important techniques I used were time management, patience, and hard work. If I were to do this project again I would make sure that the colors are mixed well and make sure that before I start I have all of the materials I need to begin.
