Slide 2: The Internet has changed communication. Before Internet, there was no way to connect with people beside meeting up with them in cafe and bars to keep in touch with them. Nowadays there is plenty of ways to communicate with people and furthermore meeting new people from all over the world. For example, Facebook has changed the way we communicate. In Facebook you could communicate with your friends and also meet new people.
Slide 3: Immediacy refers to how fast something gets spread and or post onlines. Permanence means that something is being permanently posted online. Lack of Control means that when you post something you lose all control of where that post may end up and who that post might end up with.
Slide 4: Immediacy, Permanence and lack of Control affects both our offline and online identities and lives. Immediacy effects our online and offline identities and lives because of how fast something gets spread and or post online and before you even get to deleted people had already seen it before and furthermore screenshotted it. Permanence effects our online and offline identities and lives because as soon as you post something there is no way to get them back. Lack of control affects our online and offline identities and lives because when you post something you don’t know who have control over them and who lose control of it. For example, like the story of Amanda Todd, the fifteen year girl who took her own life when she lost control of what she posted online to an anonymous person. She couldn’t get back her things she posted and it was lack of control.
Slide 5: One way I could actively manage my identity and reputation online is that I should be aware of things I post online and don’t post anything that others won’t like. One way I could protect my identity and reputation is that I should be well informed who I talk to online and who I send and share things to.
Slide 6: The internet does have rules. You can’t do anything inappropriate and do things that could affect others lives and harm them. In terms of using Internet, there is a privacy policy. You have to agree with that policy in order to use that website which almost all things in Internet has. For example, Instagram that has a privacy policy. The Instagram’s privacy policy is about things you could do and things you can’t do.
Slide 8: Cyber bullying is a bullying that take place using electronic devices. It’s where someone harasses an individual or a group of people. 2 kinds of cyber bullying are impersonation and harassment. Impersonation is when someone is pretending to someone sending mean and rude things. Harassment is when someone is repeatedly sending things to someone else online.
Slide 9: The advises for victims are that if you are getting harassed and bullied online just know that don’t be down for anyone. Instead immediately see a trusted person and share what is happening with you. Record what everything they’re doing it to you but don’t respond or try to fight back. The advises for bullies are that you can’t always be harassing people, one day everyone will find about you and you could get punished for it. You could get consequences and repercussions. The advises for bystanders are that you should help everyone you are seeing getting assault because you never know when it will happen to you and you won’t get any help from others. So be aware of your surroundings and help others who are in troubles.
Slide 10: Five tips for using the Internet is that first don’t put personal information online for anything. Second, think before you post something because once you post something you lose control of it. Thirdly, be aware of people you add as a friend in social media. Fourthly, don’t argue with someone that is bullying you meaning don’t respond or fight back but instead record everything. Lastly, remember that not everyone online is who they are in reality.

Slide 5 An explanation of how the Internet has changed communication. Make sure to use at least one specific example.
The internet has changed communication because everybody gets information has changed.
Slide1 Define Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control as they pertain to the Internet
Immediacy in internet is explaining how fast get uploaded, Permanence is a way to show how no matter what if you post online it is still there, even if you delete if off the internet someone can always bring it back up with a screenshot. Lack of Control is not having a real thought when you are using the internet, not thinking of what you are posting while or before posting.
Slide2 An explanation of how Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control affect both our offline and our online identities and lives. Include at least one example.
Immediacy can affect your online and offline life because if you post something inappropriate someone can screenshot it and send it your boss, teacher, parent, and etc, which can mess up your reputation. Permanence to me is the biggest effect because no matter if you delete of the internet someone can always bring it back up, someone can always share what you think is private. Lack of control can mess up your offline life because you should be more responsible when it comes to what you say.
Slide 6 What are two ways that you can actively manage and protect your identity and your reputation online? (one of each)
One way that you can actively manage your identity is to email the source you are using to tell them it’s really you are put a lock on your page. Another way to protect your online reputation is to watch what you post, post things that are really for you and be mindful of other feelings.
Slide 3Answer the question: “Does the Internet have rules?” Use at least one specific example.
Yes, the internet has rules, it’s thing you can and cannot do on the internet. It’s certain websites that block you off as a teenager or things like that. For example certain or most social media sites do not allow you to post or repost things. Or they will email you and say that you can not use something because you have broke one of their rules.
Slide4 Define cyberbullying in your own words.
Describe at least 2 kinds of cyberbullying and why they are considered cyberbullying
Cyberbullying is a way of doing things online disrespecting people, saying rude comments, and etc.
Slide 7 Provide advice for: victims, bullies and bystanders of cyberbullying

The internet has been able to change communication in multiple ways that can let other interact between each other and communicate. For example, Skype is probably one of the main Communication tools I use constantly to interact and communicate between my friends.
Immediacy itself means that whatever you post or say online or offline can spread like wildfire and get out of control in a very quick manner. Permanence means that whatever you post can literally never go away due to the fact that so many people could have copied and posted this themselves. Lack of control means that you can never really get rid of the thing you could have posted because someone else could have copied it and posted it on somewhere you may not want it, meaning you have no control over that one and can’t do anything to hide it or censor it.
One way to actively manage and protect your identity online is to literally never post anything and live on with your life not posting anything that you only want your friends to see. Another way to manage and protect your identity online is to only post things that you feel will not offend anyone, not hurt anyone, and not hurt yourself or your reputation. For example, if you posted something that will not hurt you but offend someone else they may get revenge on you and could post something that could really hurt your reputation.
The internet itself I would say has no rules but the websites that you can access with the internet have a ton of rules and regulations, for example when you enter a website or any other form of social media, games, Etc. They require a terms of use or any other form of rule agreement that you have to accept before using it.
Cyber bullying to me is a form of bullying that really is just on the internet that can take many forms. For example there are forms of cyberbullying from the two people themselves like verbal abuse, but then their are those cases where a person can be saying bad things about the victim on social media just to lower their reputation.
One form can be between two people, one person can be verbally abusing the other, While another form could be between many people and just one person, they all just abuse that one person with hate messages and so on.
Victims should always double check their account for things such as hate messages and should always be aware of what their posting because it can seriously backfire and cause destruction.
8.
Try to never use social media.
Be aware of what your posting.
Be conscious of the people around you and what they may think about a post.
Ignore haters /block them or report them if you can.
FInd something better to do with your time on the internet that on social medi.

Internet Survival Guide
1. internet has changed communication by giving people the ability to have freedom of speech and express their opinions to others freely. However some people think that this also means that they can say and get away with ANYTHING such as cyberbullying and trolling. An example could be of people expressing their opinions on race while others might take as an opportunity to be racist.
2. Immediacy is to be involved in something, permanence is to be forever lasting and never removeable and lack of control is by the name states to loose control over something or a situation. The way these three things affect our lives are sort of in a pattern. It starts of with permanence when you put something unnecessary or inappropriate over the internet. Next, is immediacy where people start to find these inappropriate things and pull you and others into an argument of what and why the person did this over the internet. Last, is a lack of control where so many people see what you posted that you eventually start to get hate not just over the internet but in real life as well after losing control over what you posted.
3. One way to protect your identity is by learning how to spot scams and hackers. Also, one way to protect your reputation is by presenting yourself well over the internet or by making a good first impression.
4. Yes the internet does have rules and while most people generally don't follow them, rules are still rules. An example could be how some places like America having a rule that allows you put people in court for cyber bullying while other places like alaska don't have that rule with them so someone can commit cyberbullying acts and can not be sent to court.
5. Cyberbullying is what happens when you abuse the power of technology and your own intellect and use those two things to harm or hurt others physically or mentally over the internet.
6. One type of cyberbullying is trolling which is when you go out of your way to do nothing more than insult or hurt someone over the internet for no real purpose. Another type is masquerading when you use someone face or name basically conceal yourself within a digital mask and avoid getting caught for heinous acts over the internet.
7. For victims of cyberbullying I recommend ignoring the commits the bullies make since they have no wright to judge you, especially since they don’t even know you. Also, make sure to call in a bystander for help. As for the bullies I recommend for them to stop going out of their way to harm others that they don’t even know and stop acting like cowards. If you want to bully someone do it in person instead of over the internet that will atleast make you look like you're tough enough to go face to face with the person. If that's not enough to get you to stop than simply remember how rare it is for cyberbullies to escape with their crimes. Most people who bully others over the internet are eventually caught and put to prison so think about that.
8. My top 5 tips for using the internet are to first be aware of scams and hackers. Second, always try to make a good first impression on people. Third, only invite people you know and are familiar with over your social media. Fourth, make all of your internet passwords as convoluted as possible. Last and fifth, don't ever get involved in a situation that could potentially lead to cyber bullying.
