Creativity while learning forces me to step outside of my general comfort zone where I consistently reside. Any form of creativity sparks a certain sort of excitement within me, especially during my class projects. When experimenting with different kinds of topics, forms, and aspects, I not only learn new things, but I take those concepts with me outside of a classroom setting, too. Being inventive goes a long way in a lifetime. It is paramount that as a youth generation, we present our fresh, innovative ideas to express our individuality more vividly. Creativity is also a wonderful way to break the conventional stereotypes that are shown throughout places such as institutions and companies. At Science Leadership Academy at Beeber, we are encouraged to display any kind of artistic visionary that we posses. The best part about that process is that we are not and never will be judged for anything that we propose. Initiative is desired, welcomed, and accepted graciously among our peers, teachers, and staff. Our community is alike no other, we strive to include new visions in our curriculum and assignments to grasp the interest of the students that attend. Learning should not be an inconvenience or a burden, the things that you choose to do while you educate yourself should be as fun as possible so you can always reflect on that experience and remember how far you have come since. Creativity while learning is my favorite way to acquire information, I believe that it always will be. I hope that, in the near future, we can continue our motivational method of originality to make obtaining knowledge a fun, interesting, and compelling endeavor of a journey that everyone will enjoy.

   Creativity while learning sometimes helps me be more creative depending on what the topic is. If it was a topic we already talked about then I’m not gonna be interested and I wont be creative and I’m gonna just do the bare minimum. But if the topic is interesting I might want to be more creative because I can relate to the topic really well. The downside of being creative in a project is when you become too creative and you want to do something beyond what the teacher originally asked for therefore you give yourself more work and you make it harder than it’s supposed to be, unless the person is really good with there time and management then they are fine. In the end it’s really just based on the type of person your like if you're lazy, hard working, or both you can do whatever you like.

  • Creativity while learning is when you are collaborating with your friends, and classmates you don’t even talk to in the class. It’s also when you go up and ask Ms. Bentum for help on an assignment even though she might tell you to go ask someone else. It’s when you do more than what was required for you to create. It’s when you’re given a play to do by Ms. Bentum and you go up and remember the lines, but you make it funny. Why do you make this funny, because you want to keep that audience interested even though that wasn’t a requirement. Creativity while learning is exceeding expectations and showing everybody what you can do such as teachers, bosses, classmates, and Etc.

Creativity while learning is expressing your thoughts and ideas of your own mindset of how you interpret life. To me creativity while learning is like revealing your hidden imagination. Expressing is a huge deal with creativity pieces. Individuals with extraordinary personalities have outstanding ideas; brainstorms about anything. They can might expand their own way of existing. Although, others imagination can reflect on how they create new inventions. Creativity while learning helps  because when asked even a simple question, you can give your own explanation of how things interact. Also you can get to hear other people responses of how they view things and their own perspective.  Creativity while doing anything also aids you to see how your own self can view things and what you believe is more imperative to acknowledge because now you can exhibit your very own skills to people. Most of  the time people express what they enjoy during creativity lessons. how they ponder is a great way to share how you feel.

Creativity while learning to me means to be able express yourself while still be able to get the work done. To be creative while working you have to be able to brainstorm interesting ideas. Creativity isn’t something that just pops into your head. You have to give it time and it has to be able to correspond to what is going on but still show off what you’re capable of doing. When people hear creativity in school the first thing that usually pops up in there mind is art. You have to be able to visualize, you can also be creative in writing, that's why we have creative writing. All you do in creative writing is express yourself. That's all creativity is while learning; being able to express yourself and show of what you can do and be proud of it. Creativity lets you show of your culture and traditions that you have in your family. It allows you to open up, so why not.

Creativity while learning…

helps me to express my feelings on the topic that I’m learning .It helps me to make what I’m learning more enjoyable. If I am creative than I can grasp onto the subject better. Creativity while learning is very efficient and I won’t be as bored. I think that not being creative during learning leads to not very well-spoken ideas and projects. Honestly, creativity just makes everything way more fun and enjoyable . When you enjoy something you tend to want to do more. So if I enjoy school than I will want to continue to be educated. Creativity helps with everything .It helps to get you a exceeding expectations on your grades. It also helps you become a better student and kid, in general.You will most likely get what you need and help others understand what they need when you are creative while learning . I’ve always used creativity while I learned and It’s worked out great for me. I just think it’s better for kids’ learning if they are able to be creative. It’s boring to have to write this big essay about nothing. Most likely when you finish, you’ll remember none of that information you just wrote about.

Creativity while learning is magnificent because here at SLA we learn using creativity. We learn things that will help us in life. When we learn things we gain knowledge and skills that will help us be able to lead and create things that help people in life. Also we create things, we bring things to the table that people never thought of or did. What we learn helps us create new things. Next we can lead once we learn and create we become leaders. When we learn we create the things we learn and creativity will help us be able to lead. Thanks to SLA each and everyone of us will be able to start our own legacy.

Creativity while learning: I use creativity while learning, like I brainstorm or write down bullet points, creativity helps me express my feelings on what I am writing in a short sentence or a phrase or a paragraph or when I am studying , or if I am writing a book creativity helps me write down the important stuff which comes in my mind. It's always good to use creativity while I write or type or study for something, for example I can study using creativity in many ways I can learn in many different ways like studying the way you were told to when you were a kid. People use many ways of creativity to learn. A lot of people don’t use creativity and that is not so good, because it is always good to learn using your creativity. I use creativity while studying, like if I am having trouble solving math problems or a problem in physics, I can use creativity to learn, this a very good way of studying, authors write books using creativity, and by using creativity people can do things like write songs and poetry and rap songs. When I was little I used creativity to study and write stuff and draw. People in West Coast custom use their creativity to make designs and they also use creativity to pimp up cars.

Creativity while learning helps me understand what I'm learning better. Sometimes when the teacher is just sitting there talk and talking and talking it gets boring and goes into one ear and out the other. When i'm actually doing something that's helps me learn while being creative and doing it how i want it's easier to remember and comprehend. I think creativity is important in learning because everyone learns differently. I think things should be hands on and taught fun so the kids actually want to come to school and learn. I dont think im the most creative person out there and i'm a slow thinker but if its un and i'm enjoying myself i actually try and give effort. I want to put in effort. When the teachers gives me something creative i think about how i want to do it and how it can be different than others in the class. I never procrastinate because that's just not who i am. I always like doing creative projects for school because it shows people how different everyone thinks and views on different things. Being creative for me is really important to me because sometimes i feel that people think i'm not smart because of my personality and how things don't come straight to me, but when i have something creative i feel as though i can show them how good i am and talents that they might  not know i have. I think teachers should always want their class to be creative all the time to make the learning quicker and easier. When i learn creatively it's like the teacher understands the way i like to learn and how i learn. I'm more of a visual learner so reading a book or watching somebody write the math problem on the board isn't good enough for me and it's harder to comprehend. That's why creativity in learning is good for me.

           Creativity while learning causes me to put words/phrases in my own words. When learning in a creative way, I get a better understanding on the topic and it becomes glued to my brain. When I learn without creativity, I get distracted by other things and forget about what I was learning. After I learn creatively, I complete assignments thoroughly. Creativity makes me think outside the box and use my imagination more when answering questions. I go above and beyond because I think more about my answer than usual. I put more thought into my answers and use things that I learned about in the past.

Creativity while learning causes me to want to learn more. Creativity while learning helps me learn things a lot better. To me all teachers should try to make their lessons creative. It will benefit me a lot. If teachers teach in a way that is creative and I can learn in a creative way then I will want to learn more. I feel like when I am just sitting in a boring class I feel kind of forced to learn. Meaning I don’t really want to be sitting in a boring class listening to a teacher talk, but I know that I have to if I want to pass my class. Either way though sitting through a boring class won’t help me in any way to pass a class. For example,me personally if a teacher just stands in the front of a classroom talking all day I am automatically going to zone out. Because me as a person I know that I  already have a minimal attention span so if a teacher is boring then I will let myself slowly begin to not pay attention.  An example of learning in a creative way is how Ms.Bentum laid out the mini project that I  just got finished doing. She allowed me to be creative and make a movie that I actually wanted to do. Another benefit from creating the movie was I took the information that I learned and made it a fun way for me to learn and memorize it. What I mean is I didn’t have to sit in a class and listen to a teacher talk all day and then have to recall all of the information the next day. I was able to actually  exercise my brain a lot more than what if I were to be sitting in a boring classroom.

Creativity while learning… makes me feel like I can express myself more in my work.  Even though it is harder to create something while doing an assignment,  it is also fun at the same time.  I feel like it is fun to create things in writings or projects because you can express yourself and make it fun for yourself.  Instead of doing a strict assignment where you can only do so and so, you can come up with ideas of your own and make the project or assignment or whatever exceed expectations.  I also feel like being creative in your work will make you better at what you’re doing.  For example, if you’re writing something you could add little puns or something like that.  It enhances your writing and to me, it seems like it is more interesting to read than a boring old paper about the revolutionary war.  Nobody wants to read some paper just stating facts and theories and what not.  Why not make it more interesting for others.  Also being creative will help you think better.  For example, let's say someone had an idea about something super important but had trouble backing it up.  You could use your creative mind and come up with tons of ideas in order to contribute.  I feel like everyone should try to be creative in work because it is easier to use what you know than doing tons of research online in order to finish something.  It lightens up the load for you by a bit.  Also, being creative in ordinary situations could help quite a bit for others.  For example, let’s say that you and your friends were just sitting inside doing nothing and had no idea what to do that day.  You with your creative mind could throw in ideas and possibly come up with something to do so that you and your friends can have some fun.  Being creative in class is probably that best place to be creative.  For example, the teacher asks a question where opinions are good answers.  You could come up with tons of ideas to help contribute.  You could blow the other kids out of the park with your mind.  See that right there.  That being creative :p.  Being creative is just a good thing to be able to do because it helps you learn, you can throw out ideas without even having to think about it, help out in boring situations, and being creative can help you or lighten the load of work you have to do.

Creativity while learning makes me feel like I can make learning or making my work my own.I feel as though when I have room to make my creativity known I get my work done faster I work harder and I want to do my work.It shows my passion for what I love. It shows me when I feel.When I can show creativity I can make my work look better then ever. You also have to put  creativity in work that might not have any in it. You might have to look to your creative side and make the work creative.Everyone has it but not everyone knows how to use it. Some people use it but not to their best advantage or put the effort in. Creativity is one of the most important things.It’s more than drawing or making a picture it’s showing what you know. It’s also you what you have in you to make it better ad not a little bit in a way that’s different in a way nobody else does or did in the past. It’s new and exciting.creativity comes in all forms and sizes you might be called creative for one thing and something that you never done before more than something you’ve done your whole life.Some people like teachers, parents, peers, etc see your thing and don’t look at creative side. Form a personal experience I would make something or more specific write an essay and might think it the best thing I ever did.The only thing remember creativity it everywhere. Most all it’s you.

Creativity while learning makes me feel like they are giving me a chance to express who I am. Sometimes people or student do not always get the chance to express how they feel because teachers don't allow it. Certain schools want strict and want it to be organized, they don't realize that they are not giving the child a chance to show their true potential. Knowing that I can express myself and given the opportunity to be creative knowing that others don't have that makes me feel lucky. Being  creative means to be different, what makes me as an individual stand out. Doing things differently and not the same way allows you to learn from a different point of view. Learning from a different point of view is very important because not everyone in the world that i am going to have to live with think the same. Being able to see where they are coming from and also being able to see where they are right and where i are right is a very good quality someone should have. That doesn't mean that the other person is always right but to be able to have a decent conversation while learning how others think can be very useful. I could actually learn something that you never knew from that person. The same goes for that person as well, if you know how to be open minded people can learn from you. That is what creativity is all about being open minded , being able to learn something new. If your not open minded you're never going to learn anything because you are stuck with just the basics, just the top layer. When being creative you dig deeper than you would if you just learned the normal simple way. I’m not saying that there's something wrong with learning that way but i believe when someone is able to express there self they also allow other people feelings toward something sink into your expression and expand your view on things.

  Creativity while learning makes me feel like I can use my imagery to learn. You can use anything to learn it’s your choice. There are more ways to use creativity then you think. This is because the mind is unpredictable when it comes to creativite. When you use creativity you can think outside of the box. Then you think about it, you can use your thoughts and ideas to learn. You could go to a different world to learn with your creativity. It also makes me feel more open and free. This is because I can choose how to learn, with my mind. Creativity while learning... it is an amazing feeling because you can learn your own way and the way you like it. When learning while creating, I can do a project that represents me that I would be very proud of representing. Also, it gives me an easier way of learning because I can do it how I want it and it makes it different from others in a good way. But sometimes it is not the best aspect for me because in some situations, projects that I don't really have the interest in or lack creativity in will be very tough for me to do when I want to be creative. So if I don't be creative I will receive lower points than expected. Being creative while learning is a good benefit for me because I can discuss my ideas with peers and know their thoughts on the idea and I could learn from them and grow my creativity. Being on the topic with peers, if we have a project and I have people in my group we could have so much creativity in it and it would represent who we are. Or if it’s just me, it can show who I am. When being creative while learning I can be more open to my learning and understand it more than learning straight from a textbook. I can really let loose when lm being creative when learning. I chose this school because I know being creative while learning is the purpose of the school. I would like to be with people that think both different and the same as me to balance myself.

Creativity while learning…. gives a better understanding on what we are learning. Being creative is what turns a dull learning experience into a fun experience that you actually want to learn and be productive. Creativity while learning makes something more fun than doing a regular.

Test or quiz, it spices up things little you won’t think this is boring instead you would think I’m really having fun with this project or assignment. When I think of creativity while learning, it mean going out the box from your normal assignment. If you use creativity, your project will be on a whole nother a level that you enjoy doing something. The past project using Powtoons was the best I never used powtoon before so it was a first. Being creative while learning makes you forget you are actually learning something. You get your work done quicker and efficiently which helps with your grade. In the end you had fun, you and your teacher are impressed that’s just the coolness of creativity while learning in my opinion.

Creativity while learning… Creativity while learning is one of the most important things in a school. Without it school is boring and no fun, but when you are given the freedom to do what you want with a project. It is really important weather you are only have a few things to choose from for your project, you still get a choice.

For me SLA’s moto is very important to how things are done at the school. Learning in class and making mistakes and then learning from those mistakes, but still having fun while doing it. Create projects and make friends and create a community of good people. Lead a group in class or be the teacher of a mini-course while still being in the school.

This school is very different then almost all of the other high schools I would have gone to, the other ones were boring but this one was so much different and that is one of the reasons that I came here. My middle school was also a very creative school so that lead me to this school.

Creativity


Creativity while learning makes me go crazy like I have super power or something. When a teacher tells me to be creative, so many ideas always pops up in my head, it’s like an infinite space full of thoughts, ideas, feelings, theories, and opinions. I love when I can be creative, it gives me a way to show or expressing more of who I am through my work. Creativity is the like the use of your imagination, when I use my creative juice that’s what it’s all about, my imagination. My mom always say I get my creativity from her. In SLA it’s always about exceeding and going out of the perimeter, that with my space full thoughts will do achieve great things. It’s a little bad for me because it makes stress too. Also sometimes when they give us project and tell us to be creative, I feel like when I come up with some many ideas I think doubt myself which makes not achieve what I really want to, cause I’ll think that I can’t or won’t be able to do it. I really need to change my mind some things about because in this school specifically i know I’ll have to use my juices to the maximum. 0 to 1,000. Even like this assignment, Writing is showing my creativity of the creativity. I know I will be able to do great things with the powers of my mind. BE CREATIVE!!!

Creativity while learning is when you need something to bounce off of so you can look at thing better than most people because most people use their creativity to show others how they learn and show your teachers as well . Learning creativity is something you want to have a skill at because when it comes to projects you can make a game out of it and make it resourceful and most people can't do that because  they are not thinking creativity if people had a superpower and people had to give it to them I would have gave them some creativity so they can learn more and see more of the problems that society has so they can fix it and i wish some of my friend had some creativity just so they can have something to say or something to do.

    Creativity while learning looks like interesting thoughts and ideas about the about the topic that’s being said by a teacher or a learner. When being creative you have to think and show the ability of and energy of new ideas. Creativity feels like as though they can bring the spice to the conversation and it’s all about interesting facts or details and a creative mind. You have to think outside the box to a creative learner, reader, or a writer. There’s nothing to know or learn about being creative you just have to have an interesting mindset. Is being loose while working, being able to put your thoughts into your work without restriction. This also means to me to exceed expectations in your work to not keep your work plain, for example adding color. If you are presenting something do just stand and talk cause that's boring and people will get bored and not pay attention, you need to interact with the group that you are presenting to. Creativity while learning is getting a better understanding of work like ask questions to see how creative you can be. When you are doing a assignments do not do the bare minimum do more than the directions tell you to.

Creativity while learning sometimes has me on a edge. It makes me confuse. How can I be creative ? I can’t always express myself… Sometimes I can’t be honest, sometimes I have to bite my tongue because my creative side might start` flowing but my learning side might stand still, and sometimes just sometimes that might not work. I am an outspoken, direct, alluring, sedulous, individual that has to keep a professional side and a side that keeps the young me alive. Creativity while learning is being both of this things, having fun and exploring your education. Basically,being creative in learning is a stress relief. It helps you not stress so much, it gives you the understanding of not always trying to over work yourself or not believing you can do it because at the end of the day you still need to, stay focus. You can’t stay focus if you’re stressed out trying to figure what you should do on projects and things in that nature. Or just the fact that you need to ask questions, you need to have an understanding of what you are doing. Being creative while learning is being yourself and having respect for yourself and others in the learning place.

Creativity while learning is being creative with your learning. What i mean is you have to create a way you can learn things faster. For an example if you had to learn the 50 states for a test or something , you could be creative and make up a rap or song to learn them faster. Creativity is a big part of learning to me. It makes learning easier and faster. It helps me think more, it also helps me get a better understanding than just learning something regularly. Creativity while learning helps you learn and have fun at the same time. Everything wouldn’t be so boring if you threw a little spice in it.  In class we had to make a Powtoon video for similes and metaphors , my creativity helped me with the project.
